“Miles is an idiot.” Following the war with the shadow pack, the six-pack alliance’s army, aptly named the ‘security squad’, started sending teams off on missions to track down and eliminate splinter groups that formed from remaining shadow pack loyalists. Miles and I both applied to be included in the next mission, but he narrowly missed making the cut and he’s been salty as fuck ever since. He’s officially next in line for the mission if someone drops out, hence his ask in the bet we made.

“What’s the matter? Why so serious?” Her heart started thumping hard. Sean paused for a moment, seeing the hesitation in Diana’s eyes, but he went on, “Daddy, Mommy, I want to join a training squad.” “Training squad?” Diana instinctively glanced at Julian. “What is a training squad?” “A strict training regiment invented by Grandpa to put the mind and the body to the test,” Julian said. “I participated in it when I was young. It was called Successor Training Camp back then, but because it was so grueling, the son of a wealthy family died. After that, it was modified and slowly evolved to the training squad it’s known today.”

With pride and elegance, I swerved my hips past the boys, while my four friends followed from each side. Tracy, Eretria, Romena, and Sasha. Their insignia has four red stars instead of black stars and the second in command has a red circle instead of a black circle. It is always good to know how things work in a Pack or within the Renegades, most Packs don’t teach their children the correct way anymore and information has gotten lost. Alpha Leon steps onto the stage and everyone goes quiet to listen to his speech, not that he seems very comfortable to me. “Good. Make sure to monitor the rest of the island and to look for any suspicious activity. Squad 1-A will be joining you from now on.” The four of us flinched, hearing the name of our squad. I looked at Gabriella and they were already staring at us. She didn’t look scary or intimidating, but she had this cold stare that looks like she doesn’t want us. “I’m Red Quinscity, leader of the squad. Pleased to meet you,” I introduced and extended my hand.

Stevan standing up to introduce himself and his member. “My name is Stevan Maverick, PRD-class Herrscher. Then our SLT-class, Alto Corlena. GRD-class, Lucas McJaeger. RTH-class, Mateo Harper. The Next Day Lira's POV The air inside the arena pulses with electricity as we cheer the team, waving the pom-pom in our hands. Dressed in a super tight uniform—red and white—the sir nibbles at my exposed skin. It isn’t a game—it’s just a rehearsal between the team members. There’s a competition between Moonfang and Moon Eclipse college in four months’ time and of course Coach Daniel has ordered the team to start rehearsing immediately.
