Betrayed but Married to a Disabled Billionaire

Betrayed but Married to a Disabled Billionaire

He was still annoyed about seeing her in Mike’s arms. *** The next morning, Arabella’s phone rang. Tom’s name lit up the screen. “Bella,” he said in a grim voice. “There’s trace poison in the wine. It’s a rare compound—not deadly in small doses, but enough to cause dizziness, fainting, even a mild heart attack. If your father had a history of heart problems… it could’ve killed him.” Arabella’s world stopped. “Can you tell what the poison was made from?” “It’s a chemical often used in lab research. But… someone smart with access to raw materials could make it at home.”

Her Ex-husband's Regret

the senior scientist stated. “OK, I'm listening." "Based on the completed toxicological analysis. Only your friend's drink was poisonous. “What kind of poison?” I asked. “TEST. It is an extremely hazardous neurotoxin that is prohibited in the majority of nations. It produces severe convulsions, pulmonary edema, and internal bleeding via fast vascular injury. That is why she bled from both her lips and nose," they said. “And the other drinks?” my pulse pounded. “Negative. We employed MS and GC-MS and found no sign of TEST or other toxins in the remaining samples. It was a deliberate poisoning," they explained.

“And I’d love to tell you everything… but I can’t. Just be careful of the people around you.” “Skip the warning,” I cut in sharply. “Keep your advice for whoever actually needs it.” A small smile touched his lips. “What was used in the poisoning?” I repeated. He hesitated. “Mercury,” he said. “And arsenic.” My breath caught. “Wait… what did you just say?” “You heard me,” he replied calmly. “And I don’t repeat myself, Miss Terisa.” He turned and started walking away. “You can’t just drop information like that and leave!” I called after him. “That’s not even half the story!”

In search of true heart

In search of true heart

As the group reconvened in the safety of the room, all eyes turned expectantly towards Rudra, the bearer of vital information that could shed light on the deadly poison that had claimed the innocent cat's life. Rudra, his expression grave yet determined, took a moment to gather his thoughts before speaking. "The poison that was used," Rudra began, his voice carrying a weight of knowledge and experience, "is derived from rare tree barks and bodies. It's a concoction so potent that it can extinguish life within seconds of consumption."

When the Fool Heals the Mafia

When the Fool Heals the Mafia

The copper walls of the tub glowed faintly, as though the engravings were channeling something deeper than heat. While they waited, Jerald wandered toward the desk where the women worked. His eyes scanned the open pages diagrams of plants, chemical structures, strange runes. “What happens to the poison after you take it out?” he asked. One woman glanced up. “We keep it. Every toxin tells a story of where it came from, who made it, and how it kills. Amara has built the largest poison registry in the world.” Jerald’s eyes narrowed. “So, this place isn’t just for healing.”

Betrayed By My Mate; Desired By His Alpha Daddy

Betrayed By My Mate; Desired By His Alpha Daddy

“I have confirmed most of the poisons are Class A substances. They are not rare but are known to cause organ damage or sudden bouts of illnesses if used. And in prolonged usage it can be fatal.” Blood rushed past my ears as my heart beat faster. This report was something I was afraid of hearing. By the Goddess, this was incredibly frightening. “Bu, it wont kill me right?” I spluttered, feeling my chest ache. Damn it, they had really tried to kill me, hadn’t they? “Your bloodwork shows your immune system is still quite good. However…” he trailed off before asking. “My lady, if I may ask. Do you usually come down with fevers, stomach aches or any sort of ill feeling every now and then?”

I Can't Be Mated to Him

I Can't Be Mated to Him

The blue seal looks like it oozed reddish ink onto the page. I’m not holding a letter. I’m holding a murder weapon. “What?” Sash asks. “I just thought you might want to see it.” “Burning clove,” I mumble. “It’s a contact poison. You have to touch it, the sap, which looks reddish when distilled to full potency.”

“The liquid is supposed to turn very pale pink when in contact with this if it has the poison. I’ve been using it as a test. If we have another additive here that is not wine, then we will see.” We all lean forward, waiting for any of the wine to turn pale pink. But no wine takes on that color. I know that Drake is much too deliberate to make a mistake in this regard, and it ties in with the fact that I can’t smell that chemical scent. None of the other wines are poisoned. That’s a relief on our part since that means that the people are not ingesting anything that would harm them, but at the same time, it’s grinding my gears since we can’t tie the poison to anyone when it’s only placed in th

Dear Husband, My Turn To Love You

Dear Husband, My Turn To Love You

"I understand this is difficult to process, ma'am, but I assure you—this is the truth. Fortunately, you were brought in quickly. Any delay, and the outcome could have been far more severe." Even when I tried not to believe him, my heart kept pounding hard against my ribs. Each thud louder than the last, like my chest was trying to burst. “If it’s so harmful, why do makeup products use it then?” I wasn’t even sure what I was asking anymore. No makeup products were supposed to contain such an expensive and banned poison. “Makeup companies don’t use this. I believe someone added it to your products—maybe a competitor. I feel you should report…”

That is a clear sign of poisoning. 'But how did I get poisoned? Why haven't I realized it? ' "How dare you attack Tenoch? You're courting death!" As Delaney was taken aback, Jarrell yelled and rushed forward to pierce the long saber into Delaney's heart. Puff! Delaney trembled and spat blood in an instant. "Delaney!" Jarrell leaned close to Delaney's ear and whispered, "I bet you didn't see this coming. The truth is the three incense sticks that Tenoch lit just now contained the highly poisonous Bone Dissolving Poison.
