Two of the reviews are the kind that a first-time author does not anticipate receiving — serious and specific and written by people who have read it rather than read about it. The third review is in a financial publication and is largely concerned with the Blackwood Holdings story as a corporate narrative, which is not the book I wrote. I read it with the equanimity of someone who has learned that not every reader is your reader and that this does not diminish the ones who are.

It was kind of an experiment with the male lead, and I ended up really liking him (like most of you do) In the end, if you pretty readers have some gems to spare, do consider giving them to this book. I really love those gems and the reviews. As I have said many times before, the reviews get a book recognized. When new readers come across a book, they check the reviews to see if they want to read the book or not.
