His Beauty Queen (Book One of The Kings Series)

His Beauty Queen (Book One of The Kings Series)

Alexander He gritted his teeth as he studied the image of his lycan above the marbled mantlepiece. The painting was done by a royal pack member, Paul Cezanne in 1858. The worth of the art was invaluable like the artist himself. No matter how much he tried to relax, it was impossible. His wolf was snarling and roaring in his head, wanting blood on his sharp canines. The blood of the enemy. A fucking necromancer. He will tear him piece by piece by nightfall tomorrow.

The Carrero Effect

The Carrero Effect

I catch her expression warm up, and I relax. Perhaps I’m overthinking this. I’m mindful that Mr. Black Suit is standing in a corner by the window, glaring at us; it’s a little intimidating, but also reassuring. Just out of sight to my far left on the long cream Italian leather couch, the younger man is sitting below some huge prints of modern artistry depicting what might be naked women. I blink and look again. Yes, naked women. Ughhh. Really? Could you be anymore playboy, Carrero?

Wonderful book, great character dynamic and storyline! Every emotion was tapped into! Enjoyed the Jake POV chapters at the end. On a serious not, Emma’s deep seeded issue are more common than we realize, and the issues associated with were address in way that encouraged & informed the reader!🤩💕

Amazing book! It was long but well worth it. I even wish there was more. I loved the bonus chapters but would also love an epilogue. There was a lot of character growth and maturity for both ML and FL. Looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Would love to see Daniel spin off.

A Second Chance at Romance

A Second Chance at Romance

There was also a field painted in the artwork, and a singular metal cage was on that field. Kaden had painted a barefoot, desolate-looking young boy inside the metal cage covered in wounds and blood. The young boy was also painted as having a heavy-looking metal chain on his neck as he sat in a pool of his own blood, which had saturated the soil underneath him, making it look black. Just one look at the artwork was enough to knock the breath out of its viewers. As such, it was no surprise that Taylor and Nina reacted in the way they did. Hannah's expression, on the other hand, remained unchanged. She looked as if she were looking at a regular piece of art, and only after studying did she say

An Act of Vengeance

An Act of Vengeance

“Mizuki-san wouldn’t do such a thing!” “No…” Ren muttered, his eyes focused on something that he could see on the wall just above Tohya’s shoulder. “He has.” Blinking, both Tohya and Yuri turned to see what had caught Ren’s attention, only to see a drawing of a raven with spread wings in front of a gate drawn onto the wall with black ink. Yuri growled in her throat. “It’s really him…” she growled. “Mizuki…you bastard…”

The Billionaire's Temporary Mistress

The Billionaire's Temporary Mistress

"Where's the real art?" Marcus opened his mouth, but I was already moving. "That garbage," I said sweetly, plucking the catalog from the table, "is Takashi Murakami's “Flower Ball”series." I let the pages fall open to a marked spread. "Which directly references the same Edo-period techniques as that." Every head swiveled toward the 17th-century folding screen displayed behind Reynolds' chair. "That's…" "Pine Trees by Hasegawa Tōhaku," I interrupted, crossing to the screen with measured steps. My fingertips hovered over the gold-leaf waves.

They also brighten up the hair and the lips and really compliment the rest of her face. By then she excitedly began to chatter exuberantly about her collection. "I got excited because the painting behind you was made by Death. A mysterious artist who paints crime arts. And that painting ..." Sumire pointed at the painting behind the young man. She was still sitting on his lap while her left hand was resting on the man's chest and her right hand was pointing at the painting. Mr. Aslanov was leaned against on the backrest of the swivel chair and he tightened his grip on the maiden's waist so that she may not fall over on the side when she recklessly moved on top of him. Martial Grandmaster As A Son-In-Law

Looking at the empty space around him, this young man raised his eyebrows and pressed his finger towards the empty space. Countless source auras surged up, quickly forming several paintings, among which endless scenes appeared, it was Tadhg Walter killing the illusory Emperor Grand and Karma Fire Emperor step by step.

UNSPOKEN BOND

UNSPOKEN BOND

CHAPTER 33 Lila's chest expanded with a deep, fortifying breath as she finished the last tubes of paint and looked over her latest masterpiece. The canvas vibrated with a boldly dissonant symphony of shapes and hues, an unashamed expression of her volatile emotions in the aftermath of Yuria's brutal assault. Yet, beneath the seething maelstrom of color, there was something profound...something steadfast and unwavering in the face of the chaotic tempest. A single figure emanating peaceful defiance, exalted within its eye as if illuminated by an inner brilliance that no outer turbulence could destroy.

The Billionaire's Submissive

The Billionaire's Submissive

With or without my consent or approval. Sighing, I leaned back into the chair and whipped out my phone. I didn't know what else to say to the driver. And there was this artist I had been viewing his works in the media. He was amazing. Asian portrait artist Kimura Hakira. He had this odd way of tugging at heartstrings with his portraits. I scrolled through his site, viewing the art works he had uploaded when I came across a poster. "No way," I whispered, clicking on the poster. "No freaking way!"

Chasing Kitsune

he nodded, offering me the folder. I smiled. Of course, Darius boasts about his brother. I truly love that about these boys. They are always supportive of each other and our granddaughter. The four of them are a great balance to each other. I opened the folder and nod with a smile as I looked at the manga-style drawings. It was apparently me, in my youth, wearing my black jumpsuit with red trim and my face hidden behind the white and red kitsune mask in some panels. It was beautiful even though it showed a story of blood and darkness.

Another awesome book by Bryant! She is so great at character development and pulls you into her story. I love how she delved into taboo topics, and the real cost of those behaviors! It's also great to read about a strong female, instead of needing a man to save her!
Y. Jetter
This is probably one of my favorites from the author. It was well written and puts an interesting spin on Girl Power. I loved how Yuri was just risqué enough to keep me hooked. Yuri/Kitsune are the bada$$ I wish I could be. Hibiki is the perfect pairing for her, complementing not overshadowing her.
