I nodded with a broad smile. Raphael gave me longing, lustful eyes before slowly licking his bottom lip which suddenly got me shuddering. "Now" he began as he joined me on the hospital bed. "Let's start with catchphrases and short sentences. Voglio fotterti qui"

I waved and he did too, before turning to Brian and they began to speak whatever it is they were saying in Italian and ended it with 'Capire? When Matt left, I decided to ask about my one new Italian language. "Capire means understand, right?" I asked. Brian nodded. "You learn quickly, I'm proud." He said. I grinned. "Well, Daddy has been teaching me a lot." I mumbled. Brian's eyes darkened and his eyes raked my body, making me feel so elated by what was coming. "Do not tempt me. I'm being a good man, baby." He said, closing his eyes and relaxing back on the chair.

He asks, like it's not his first time he's said it. Putana? Whore? I swallow hard. "Scusa mi? (Pardon me?)" I snap. He looks at me, dead in the eyes. "Cara?" I fight the urge to cover myself. But something about him, his coldness, makes me freeze. "Sì. E tu chi sei…? (And you are...?)" I ask, my voice betraying me, shaking. "No l'è gnente (It's not important)," he answers. And without another word, he turns his back and starts to walk toward the door. "Andèmo. (Let's go.) l'alba la se sveja (The dawn is waking)."

"Well, Daddy's a grown-up. We can't say grown-up words. They're, uh, special words." Marcello, who had been observing the exchange with wide eyes, finally spoke up to me in Italian, "Cosa sta succedendo?" (What's happening?) Cristiano turned to Marcello, wide-eyed. "What's he saying?" Massimo jumped in with a grin, "He's speaking Italian, right? I know some words." Anastasia tugged on Massimo's sleeve. "Can you teach me?" Massimo hesitated, then nodded slowly. "Um, okay. You can say... 'Ciao' for hello."

Luciano stops infront of a small shop and I check it to see it is a small book shop. We get inside the shop and see a young man behind the counter. He looks at us surprised. “Benvenuto Signore. Oggi è un giorno così grande che sei arrivato qui.” The young man says with respect happily. (Welcome sir. Today is such a big day that you have arrived here.) Why is he so happy? Why is he not scared? “Grazie Simone. Siamo qui per comprare alcuni libri italiani di apprendimento.” Luciano says to him to which he bows and start searching for something in different shelves. Weird how I was just thinking about him and then he showed up. "Oh mia cara sorella! I hurry up the stairs and I accept the call in Kevin's room. I take a sharp breath, and then I touch the answer button. “Pronto," I say, which means ready to speak, that's how Italians answer the phone. “Principe Emanuele, sei Vivo!” (Prince Emanuele, you're alive!) She replies sarcastically. “Cosa vuoi? Perché mi chiami dopo tutto questo tempo?" (What is it you want? Why are you calling me after all this time?) I snap back at her.
