I walked toward the small fridge in the corner, opening it and grabbing two beers before tossing one toward him, which he caught easily without looking away from the space.
“You did not come here to admire my garage, Greg,” I said as I opened mine, leaning back slightly against the counter. “What is going on?”
He took a long drink before answering, finishing nearly half the bottle in one go before lowering it slowly.
“The Italians are getting bold again,” he said.
I remained silent, letting him continue.
“They are pushing into our business,” he added, his tone steady. “Taking clients, lowering prices, trying to expand where they should not.”
