{ Beatrice } I can't complain about my life, at all. I've never even had the need to complain. Everything I want, I easily get. I have a very close family that loves and cares for me and I have amazing friends. I have a good life in general. A little boring, sure, but I guess everyone gets bored sometimes. The only thing I want and haven't been able to get, is a man: Jace Garibaldi. But he's not just any man. He's an Alpha, a very strong and sexy one. He became an Alpha as soon as he came of age. He fought against a thirty-year-old man and won, at just eighteen years old.

" You know what let's just start over. It's clear you have the upper hand here because I'm in your room and you're a big strong man." His eyebrows furrowed as I spoke. " I'm Sayd, Sayd Pierce," I said walking from the bed and stopping in front of him. "Kace," he said making eye contact with me for the first time. His eyes were the brightest brown, almost hazel. His bow-shaped curves into a smirk complimenting his perfectly curved face. It wasn't hard to point out how handsome he was, almost breathtaking "Nice to meet you, Kace," I said breaking off my stare and clearing my throat. " And thank you for not leaving me at the party. "

Alex just shrugged feeling as though this gonna be a new thing he would have to deal with. “Are you ever not childish?” She chimed which he just burned holes in the back of her head. Runa just smirking as she felt herself becoming satisfied at making him angry. Alex was honestly surprised at how she talked to Ace since he was a big alpha in the werewolf population. “Me childish? Darling never.” He said as he focused on his paperwork. Muttering she says, “Stupid Alpha.” He just places his fist in a ball and huffs.

While we eat, Jace, Alex, and Jackson open more, and I get to see more of their personalities. Jace takes his role very seriously. He seems to be just a serious person in general. However, he has a dry and almost robotic humor, which had me cracking up a few times. Jackson is very animated, has a boisterous personality, and loves cracking jokes. Alex is laid back and down-to-Earth. He has an adorable and kind personality.

Jace finally turned back and stared directly at Elora but never stopped walking. "Were you attacked by a wild animal as a child?" I smacked him on his head immediately. "Jace! You don't ask a woman about her looks!" "I apologize," he said stiffly. "All my teacher here taught me was how to fight. I am the Beta of the Blackout Pack. My name is Jace, you?" "Elora," Elora replied, her voice firm. "Nice to meet you." Jace gave her an appraisal for a few seconds before turning to look at me.

Zoe tried to calm Luka down. “Alpha is right, am sorry Zoe, I just want to know who Jace is?” he asked calmly this time, the calm before the storm because one was brewing inside him waiting to be released. “Jace is the hybrid.” Answered Luka. JP chuckled shaking his head in disbelief. “So, you even had time to get to know the bastard who killed my mate?” Zoe figured calling Jace by his name was not such a good idea after all but at the time she did not think about it.

Eyes the color of molten steel, drawing others in with their magnetic intensity. It was snowing outside yet he still wore a t-shirt, which showed off his muscles. Tattoos peeked from his sleeves. I thought I was still in my dreams. “…Jace?” I murmured. “Yeah,” he held my hands. “How are you feeling?” “I…I don’t get it…Why are you here?” Jace was my childhood playmate. He lived next door to me in a scratchy neighborhood. I always thought that his family was poor as mine. Until one day, he moved away out of the blue and that was when I leant that he was High Gale Pack’s Alpha’s bastard son.

His real name, Ace Willow, came to light to everyone's shock, and he was in fact not from the States but from a remote village in London. Through the orchestrated accident alongside the road which was a blindspot, the real Jace was killed and secretly buried, while the fake Jace took his position at the accident scene with a few added sets to make the show complete. The car caught fire and blew up right on the spot, but the fake Jace was already miles away from it while pretending to struggle for life, after injecting some kind of drug into his bloodstream to activate his hormones.

“That worked.” “I know.” I rolled my eyes. “Don’t get smug about it.” “I’m not.” “You are.” A faint smirk tugged at his mouth. Gone almost immediately. But I saw it. “Don’t make me regret that,” I added. “Too late.” For a second— It felt almost normal. Almost. Then— A voice cut through the hall. “Alpha.” We both turned. Marcus. He approached quickly, expression grim. “There’s movement near the north wall,” he said. “Not rogues.”

I spent every second I could with Jace. Jace is the only person that even knows what’s going on and why I want to stay away from Austin. He knows how hard it is for me to even look at Austin and he is extremely understanding of my situation. Zarakai on the other hand keeps questioning me and Austin every chance he gets. He knows something is going on and it’s driving him nuts. I just keep telling him everything is fine.
