The Alpha King's Chosen

The Alpha King's Chosen

“Wakey wakey!” Jace said as he pushed my door open without waiting for a reply. He walked inside with a wide grin like he had been up for hours. I rubbed my eyes. “Why are you acting like someone gave you a feast?” “Because today is the day we meet those little brats,” he said, tapping his fingers together in fake excitement. “You have not even seen them yet and you already call them brats.” I shook my head. “My great intuition says they will be brats. I trust my instincts.”

Fake Fiancée To My Bully Stepbrother

Fake Fiancée To My Bully Stepbrother

It was the bass-heavy rattle of massive speakers being tested downstairs, shaking the glass windows of my bedroom. I flinched, dropping my highlighter. The noise stopped, followed by the muffled sound of heavy footsteps walking down the hallway outside my room. I crept toward the door, unlocking it and cracking it open just an inch. The hallway was dark, but the light from the grand staircase illuminated Jace walking past. He was wearing a black Halden Athletics hoodie now, a gym bag slung over one broad shoulder. Was he actually working out just now? At midnight? As if sensing my gaze, he stopped dead in his tracks.

My Father's Best Friend

My Father's Best Friend

“Not true, but your money is in the mail. Nice to meet you, Mr. Winters.” His smile broadened as he stepped around Daisy to shake my hand. “Please, call me Jace. Nice to meet you, nicest girl in the school.” “You too.” There was no denying how incredibly good looking he was. And young. Really young, but maybe my age? He was dressed in a dark blue polo shirt and track pants with white stripes up the outside of his legs. There was a whistle hanging around his neck. “Come on,” Daisy said, heading back out into the hall. “We won’t take up any more of Lanie’s time. See you at lunch?”

Divorced My Husband And Found Love

Divorced My Husband And Found Love

“He was gorgeous. I saw a short clip of him when you guys were leaving, and oh my God. That suit. He looked like a snack. He can have my babies, Naomi…” “Right?” Priscilla chimed in. “I second that. My dad has bodyguards, and they’re all old and boring. But he looked like he just stepped out of a men’s fashion magazine. Maybe he was a model in his past?” My stomach knotted. I took a large gulp of my soda. “He’s not a model,” I said, trying to sound bored. “He’s my new bodyguard. His name is Jace.” “Jace,” Ann repeated, as if tasting the name. “How old do you think he is? He doesn’t look that much older than us.”

Stuck With My Bully Until Graduation

Stuck With My Bully Until Graduation

I listened to Jace Carter do push-ups on the other side of my wall. I can do this. It’s six months. I will tutor him, get my Harvard letter, and never see him again. I grabbed the sandwich I bought earlier to finish it, but the door opened again without a knock. Jace filled the frame. He wore grey sweatpants with no shirt. That cut on his eyebrow made him look even more dangerous than he already is. He leaned on the doorframe and stared at me with an annoyed expression. “You are really here,” he said.

RUTHLESS TEMPTATION

RUTHLESS TEMPTATION

He couldn’t afford to lose sight of the plan. "Will your father be there?" Jace asked. "He will. But he won’t pull that stunt again." Elias paused. Jace looked away. He could already hear Victor’s voice from yesterday, dripping with contempt. But another part of him, one he was trying hard to silence, wanted this. Jace hesitated, then nodded. "Fine. I’ll go." --- That evening, Jace stood in his cramped apartment, staring at his bed where he’d laid out his only decent clothes. The same thrifted suit pants from the meeting. A worn white shirt. His old bartending vest. And the only shoes he owned that didn’t scream struggle.

He Knew My Secret First

He Knew My Secret First

By the time we reach our classroom, I’ve almost convinced myself I’ve got it under control, almost until I walk in and he’s there sitting in the back like he owns that spot and MJ sitting beside him— yea MJ decided to tramsfer too since he and Jace we'repractically inseparable. Jace had one arm resting on the desk, the other loosely holding his phone, looking completely normal, completely unaffected, like nothing happened, like he didn’t……….No! I won’t go there, i won’t react, won’t feel, I'll just act like I don’t care. My steps don’t slow or hesitate, they don’t change, I walk straight past him like he’s not even there, like he doesn’t exist and for a second I think I did it, I think I pul

Satisfying Her Darkest Fantasies

Satisfying Her Darkest Fantasies

Not yet. He laid on the buzzer. Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Aggie chuckled. She left the soundproof room and walked through the foyer to answer the door. On her doorstep stood the tough angel she couldn’t get out of her thoughts. His name was Jace. Jace Seymour. Jessica, Sed’s ex-fiancée who had privilege to such information, had spilled that sweet tidbit to Aggie earlier that day. Yeah, Aggie had swallowed her tough bitch facade long enough to ask Jessica about a guy. Not her proudest moment. She didn’t think Jess would tell anyone that she was interested in someone she shouldn’t be.

As I look at my year in review, this author and book collection has been monumental in reigniting my hunger for reading. I can't track most of the books from this app easily for my year end count but in my heart this book means the most. I wish I could buy a printed version of each of these. .........

Only up to the first 3 stories...and I loved them! I wondered why the book was so big but it's broken down with several stories so when I get time, I'll read them accordingly. Pretty well written/edited and certain to make you desire more than you can handle.
