Quicksand

Quicksand

Jules had never felt so minuscule and dark, standing next to his dad. Jonathan (Jace) Carson was very white, very tall and very put-together— at least, that's what he used to be like. The man next to him looked nothing like that; the suit he wore while expensive was worn, wrinkled and fraying. It looked a little grey, just like him actually. When he first noticed him, he kinda tittered. Then tried counting on his hand how long it had been - too long, his brain supplied. Too damn, long.

Satisfying Her Darkest Fantasies

Satisfying Her Darkest Fantasies

“Not professionally.” He was so quiet Reagan hadn’t even realized he was standing right beside her. Jace’s platinum blond hair was spiked. His dark beard stubble stood in stark contrast to his light hair and had been recently trimmed. He wore his usual black leather jacket, white T-shirt, and snug blue jeans. His outfit was made even more biker by his heavy black boots, black leather belt, and the wide studded, leather cuff on his left wrist. She’d never seen Jace wear anything else. She suspected he wore his jacket and boots to bed. In the Sinners concerts she’d been to, Jace always hung to the back of the stage. Now that she knew him a little better, she assumed it was because he was shy.

As I look at my year in review, this author and book collection has been monumental in reigniting my hunger for reading. I can't track most of the books from this app easily for my year end count but in my heart this book means the most. I wish I could buy a printed version of each of these. .........

Only up to the first 3 stories...and I loved them! I wondered why the book was so big but it's broken down with several stories so when I get time, I'll read them accordingly. Pretty well written/edited and certain to make you desire more than you can handle.

She paused and resumed her pacing which she had stopped when she had been speaking. Alex was very shocked. So shocked that it was a wonder that he managed to conceal his gasp of surprise. He stopped it at the last moment because he didn't want her to know he was here. He still wanted to hear more before he would reveal himself but now he knew more than enough to come to a solid conclusion. He knew that his mate, Jasmine, was the unknown serial killer who had been killing people from their pack for a while now. His own mate, his goddess-given mate was a serial killer and he was just finding it out from her own mouth. Never had he expected to hear something like that when he had followed Jasmi

Treating Mr Psychopath

Treating Mr Psychopath

Thea reacted causing both Elena and Dorris to erupt into laughter. "O.M.G!! He has his eyes set on our direction!" Thea pointed out "Guys! He is coming over to our side!" Thea squealed in excitement. "Hello" His voice sounded like the ancient gods of the Greek mythology; his cologne embraced their nostrils like the smell of summer berries. "Hi" Thea replied shyly. "Sorry to interrupt but uhmm, I happened to have noticed you guys having fun by the table and I came to mingle. I am new here in school. My name is Jace" He didn't had the American accent and Elena thinks his accent was stuck in the Australian accent.

Divorced My Husband And Found Love

Divorced My Husband And Found Love

“He was gorgeous. I saw a short clip of him when you guys were leaving, and oh my God. That suit. He looked like a snack. He can have my babies, Naomi…” “Right?” Priscilla chimed in. “I second that. My dad has bodyguards, and they’re all old and boring. But he looked like he just stepped out of a men’s fashion magazine. Maybe he was a model in his past?” My stomach knotted. I took a large gulp of my soda. “He’s not a model,” I said, trying to sound bored. “He’s my new bodyguard. His name is Jace.” “Jace,” Ann repeated, as if tasting the name. “How old do you think he is? He doesn’t look that much older than us.”

Mr Billionaire's Regret: Ex-wife Returns With His Triplets.

Mr Billionaire's Regret: Ex-wife Returns With His Triplets.

Clean, woodsy, and something darker underneath that made me want to lean in and stay there. I didn’t say anything at first. I was too busy looking. Jace wasn’t doing anything flashy—white tee that hugged his chest like it was made for him, a bomber jacket thrown over it, dark jeans that sat just right, and spotless sneakers. Simple. Effortless. And deadly. The lights in the room made his skin glow, smooth and golden-brown. His beard was sharp, and that little smirk he gave me when he caught me staring? Unfair.

Daisy Hunter

Mrs Angela said, smiling gleefully. Tracy Molly turned, her radiant smile beaming as she showcased an effortless grace. Her poised demeanour was matched only by her stunning appearance. Her dress flowed elegantly around her, accentuating her feminine assets. Wade's eyes widened slightly in surprise as Tracy approached the table, her gaze meeting his. His mother, Mrs Angela, looked triumphant, clearly pleased with Tracy's grand entrance. "Isn't she beautiful, Wade?" Mrs Angela asked, her voice tinged with an air of assurance.

THE BILLIONAIRE’S BELLA

THE BILLIONAIRE’S BELLA

“He said what?!” “You didn’t lead with that?!” “Oh, you’re done for. RIP, girl.” I blinked at them. “Why is everyone acting like I licked a royal heir or something?” Zara exchanged a look with Liv, who raised an eyebrow. Then Sophia gave me that look—the one people use when they’re about to drop your GPA with a single sentence. “Tessa,” she said sweetly, “you do know who Jace Carter is… right?” ⸻ “I frowned. ‘Of course I know who he is.’

“I swear, I need a weekend away or I’m going to scream. Luckily, Jace is taking me up to his cabin tomorrow.” Ryleigh blinked, the name unfamiliar. “Jace?” Natalia sat up, suddenly sheepish. “Oh. Right. I never told you. Jace Marlow. He’s one of the border warriors. You’ve probably seen him—tall, built like a tank, usually glaring at something.” Ryleigh’s lips curled. “Sounds charming.” “He is,” Natalia said with a small smile. “Well, once you get past the whole ‘I will kill you if you breathe too close to my mate’ vibe.”

Forbidden Affairs

I smiled. He didn’t see the way my knees nearly buckled when the screen door closed behind him. He didn’t see the way I stood there for a full minute after the car rolled down the gravel path, hands clenched in the fabric of my dress, chest rising and falling like I’d just run a mile. Behind me, the cabin was too quiet. Then came the voice. “He’s gone.” I turned. Jace was leaning in the doorway, shirtless, sweat gleaming on his chest. He had a glass of water in his hand and mischief in his smile.
