She looked curiously around wondering how he can afford this new place. Jack had timed Jazz’s behavior. He barely slept last night needing to watch her constantly. The moment he realized where she was…. Fruits of the Forest, the company his British street wanted him to invest him. Once he understood the core principals, he denied funding. But apparently the man somehow managed to get his crazy idea of the ground. The only reason he wasn’t a successful subject was because the cold water of the sprinklers woke him from the trance. But the fact that it works, somehow, he had indigested a little of the fluid.

"Bring on the tequila!" "Sorry, Robbie, I have an early morning," Jack said. "Technically so do you, but since you just have to stand there and look pretty, it shouldn't be too hard." He leaned back in his chair, in no obvious hurry to get anywhere. "What about the amazing bachelor party I have planned?" Robbie asked with mock seriousness. Jack grimaced and Emma laughed. From what I had heard, the New York bachelor party had been a crazy enough party for Jack. He wouldn't say exactly what they did, but he had refused to drink anything besides water and Gatorade for a week.

Just you wait, wait for me to break your leg! "You want to try?" Jack's voice sounded cold and cool. "I don’t break people's legs but I have always used the method of amputation. My skill is excellent." She wanted to laugh again but she still could not laugh. She took a deep hard breath and was unaware if she said anything. "Dr. Jack, I'm going to faint........."

Joker told King while looking at him with a smirk. Instead of arguing, King nods in agreement as Jack comes in the door with the laptop in hand. Out of all of us, Jack is the best with technology; you don’t often see him without something in his hands. His hair was tousled, he was wearing an old shirt with grey sweats looking tired, and it was only 9:15. He had been tracking people for Gabe while he had been off, and I could see it was getting to him.

Sebuah pesan masuk ke ponselnya. Ternyata dari Abraham. Janu yang sedari tadi hanya bermalas-malasan segera membuka dan membacanya.

'Dig Bick. He's wearing only sweatpants that sit on his hips, showing his V-line. His abs are so toned and firm that all I could do was stare. "My eyes are up here," he mumbled amused while bringing the cup of coffee he's holding to his lips and taking a sip. "Yeah, I should be going," I murmured, shifting from one foot to the other uncomfortably as I pointed with my thumb towards the door. "Okay," Jack said with a shrug then turned his back to me as he walked towards what seems to be the kitchen.

Jack sat back on the bar stool. His eyes were big. He ran his hands through his brown hair. Did he hear Mr. Gibson correctly? He was Henry Kingsley? No! He was Jack. He's always been Jack. This was impossible! Mr. Gibson must be wrong. He must have him confused with someone else. "Mr. Gibson, I'm sorry, but you must be mistaken. My name is Jack. I grew up at Old George Orphanage. I'm no Kingsley descendant, I'm sure of it."

I made a snide comment. "We don't need to use any torture methods on you; we've already acquired a means to contact him. Did Jack mention Dr. Mark Bowen by any chance?" My face was probably as white as a sheet because Ezra grinned. "Jack is smart, I'll give him that much but he's also a human being like anyone of us and humans are bound to get exhausted when they reach their limits. In Jack's case, there was a minor slip up. He contacted Bowen in an emergency and the number lit up like a Christmas tree. That's all we needed."

Those tanks were nothing compared to the thousands of lives they had just saved and he was glad he took that effort. "Do you have any idea what he might be planning?" Drew asked. He made his way to the liquor cabinet to mix a drink for himself and his friends. In times like this, alcohol was the only thing that could calm his nerves down and right now, he needed as much as possible. "No idea, I'm still talking with my source. As soon as there is something new, I'll let you know.'' Jack said. Drew nodded, handing them glasses of whiskey he had poured for them. They drank silently as each stood with their own thoughts on the battle that was impending.

"And Drake helped you through that?" Jake chuckled. "Yeah. That sorry bastard let me mull through all of it for a year, then he offered me a training program at the gym, and he worked me out so hard every day I went up there that I had nothing left by the time I walked out. He helped me stop living a lie and look toward the future. I was still pretty fucked up when you got to town, but without Drake beating sense back into me day in and day out, I never would have looked your way. I don't care how many times you showed up, stalking me all over town."
