The Jackal Red Rising Novels & Stories

As Jack's body convulses from the serum's effects, Alpha Abel and Alpha Carmen shared an uneasy look "Tell us what we want to know, and we might find a way to protect you from the Death Walkers. Your employer's name is the only thing you need to tell us." Jack, caught between the fear of his employers and the terror of the Death Walkers, hesitated. "I can't… they'll find me, no matter what you do. You don't understand the horrors they can do to me if I talk." "Give us a lead, something we can use. Your life may depend on it." Alpha Carmen said as he stared at Jack, his faces devoid of emotions "An emblem... a silver rose... that's all I can say." Jack stammered as a devious grin formed on Al

Blood flooded his mouth, and in a moment, the wolf stopped moving. Releasing the corpse, Jack spit out all of the blood that hid filled his mouth. He looked down at the body of his enemy, but this time, he didn’t feel bad for what had happened at all. This bastard had hurt Everly. He deserved exactly what had happened to him. Off to his left, Jack heard more growls and snarls and realized that there was another fight going on. Immediately, he thought of Everly. Was she okay? Had another enemy wolf found her there in the valley, possibly wounded, and come after her?

“You’ll see. You think your pack walls protect you? They’ll fall because we have the power now…” Leo was stirring within me and my own temper was rising. “The uprising?” Romeo asked “Yes,” he sneered, eyes flicking slits across those around him. “Rogues. Exiles. The downtrodden. The hidden packs. We unite. We overthrow. Your Alpha reigns? A relic. Your borders? Paper walls. Your strength? We will trample down on it” Kevin’s eyes narrowed at him. “What are you sick fucks planning to do with Ayla?” she asked.

Bain stiffened as the lead vehicle door opened—and he saw him. The Jackal. Older than rumors said, but lean, carved from violence. Pale blue eyes like frozen knives. A scar curled from the corner of his mouth, twisting his smile into something inhuman. Even the Vulture had respected this man. Even Darius had feared him. The Jackal scanned the yard like he could smell the trap—but greed, necessity, or pride pushed him forward. Valeria’s desperation had forced her to call him. And now he was here. Inside the Freight Yard

Jessica whispers to me and tears fall rapidly from my eyes. “Thank you, Jessica. And thank you Jericho.” I tell them as they hug me tightly. I will never forget this feeling. My wolf is wagging her tail in happiness, and I am covered in a warmth that makes me feel like I am glowing from the inside out. This is where I belong.

He looks up surprised, and smiles at me. Distracted, I look to my left, but not in time. I see Xavier smile, as he takes aim. He fires, but I duck just in time. I run from my spot, and head towards the forest. I take cover behind a tree, as bullets continue to fly in my direction. I run down the ravine, and spin backwards, waiting for Xavier to find me. I watch Xavier come flying through the trees. He notices me, but it's too late. I take aim, and fire at him. Multiple orange spots hitting him at once. He raises his hands in surrender, and I run back from the forest to the range. I stand behind a wooden barricade, listening for any foreign sounds. I can hear the sound of someone scurrying ne

The worst part was, she had stared right at the face of the man who had burst the door open and he looked intimidating. Their eyes met each other and when his glowed brightly, Rosa gasped loudly. Enough to tease the alpha to smile and no doubt come after her next. ... "Burning my club down... now that is a bad business, Marius," Jack spoke to the alpha in the middle. Both were in the middle of the club after Jack had gone on a killing spree. Murdering every werewolf that tried to steal the female vampires in the club. In the middle of the club floor, Jack was alone while his enemy was many.

The ground trembles beneath our feet. Then it emerges. A creature unlike anything we have seen before. It is standing on two legs, it’s skin cracked and pulsing with dark veins.
