Stella replied, a touch awkward, her guard still up. “Well, Stella,” Jade said warmly, her smile unwavering, “whenever you need to get out of this house and breathe some fresh air, just let me know. Don’t worry—I’m not like most Lycans. I don’t care about this whole ‘lesser species’ nonsense. Hugo told me about you, and I know you’re far from home and your friends. If you need someone to talk to, I’m here.” Stella’s face softened, a relieved smile breaking through. The weight of being stuck in this house, surrounded by tension, eased just a bit. Knowing she had a potential friend in Jade felt like a lifeline.

“What does any of this have to do with me?” Jade's expression softened just enough to unsettle me. “You, my dear, are her descendant. A direct heir to her legacy. And your mate, Draven… he’s the other half of a broken destiny. The two of you—your power—aren’t just rare. They’re ancient. Jades pov I woke up pretty early. Due to the fact hunger forced me awake. I get my shower and braid my hair. Since I’m going to the training ground I put on some leggings and sports-bra with a cut off shirt. My tattoos are on full display. I have 2 full sleeves and rib tattoos. I check myself in the mirror. I look amazing. You can almost see every muscle ripple. “ you can thank me for that!” Onyx says. I chuckle and say “ good morning. You ready to show these boys how girls fight?”

Jade's pov The village square filled quickly, for it being dusk, and all eyes were focused on Gregory while the whispering and pointing was about me. “Who is the tiny female, Highness?” A female holding a pup asked. This is Jade, the last remaining survivor of the Turgenev lineage, and she will become Aiden and mine's queen here as written in the contract,” Gregory announced. The mutterings continued and grew louder, and I leaned against Conri, feeling the doubt of the King's pack.

For some reason I’m healing slowly. “The day I fainted, I had been training with Jade,” I started. “Jade?” Jake asked. I leveled him with a look that had him closing his mouth and biting on his lip. “Why were you training with Jade and not Clara?” Viktor asked. “Clara had too much to drink the night before and was dead to the world. Jade stepped in for her so that I would still get my day of training in.” “What can Jade do?” Jake asked. “Jade can control and manipulate earth or dirt,” I said. “I’m not really sure what her gift is but she split the ground under my feet and then created a humanoid.”
