Lamar put the documents away and sat downstairs for a while. Jazelle brought Raeleigh back downstairs. Her parents suddenly looked in her direction. Her mother screamed and covered her lips. She could not believe it was her child. Daniel took a step towards Jamima, took her hand in his, and led her to her parents, disregarding all the stares. Daniel stopped reaching for her parents and placed Jamima's hand in Mr. and Mrs. Parker's hands, and Jamima sobbed.
