"Accompany her to bring my breakfast to my room. I want you to send some money into her account. Hmm…for some medication. That's okay for now. You can go." James went out of the room. He was a man of an average height. His handsomeness could be considered okay by a few women. He had worked for Alex for the past four years and he had gained Alex's absolute trust. As a butler, he has extra keys to every room in the house. All the buying of anything that was connected to the house was done by him. When James got to the kitchen, Elisa was almost done with her cooking and she was about to turn off the gas flame.

A faint smirk tugged at his lips, though it was gone as quickly as it had appeared. The sound of the penthouse door opening drew his attention briefly. Only one person had access to the apartment besides himself—Ava Affleck, his contract wife. James didn’t bother looking up; her presence had become a routine part of his life, albeit one he didn’t fully understand. “What are you doing?” Ava’s voice broke the silence, tinged with both amusement and disbelief. “Clearly, I’m testing the latest in digital entertainment,” James replied dryly, not taking his eyes off the screen. “Why? Do you need something?”

They knew that Kent's family dinners were always grand affairs, so they had to be extremely careful with it. "Yes, sir!" James, the butler, said and nodded his head. After instructing them, he went to the gym room to do some exercise before his family started coming. Meanwhile, the maids gathered in one corner and started talking among themselves. "Oh my God, that must be Miss August," one of the maids whispered, her eyes wide with excitement. "I've heard so much about her!" "Obviously," another maid said , with sarcasm laced in her voice "I mean, who else could make the boss go all soft?"

I’ve arranged the garden cottage on the estate for Mr. Johnson to move into. We need a groundskeeper, and he has graciously accepted.”
