I looked around at everyone and said calmly, "I didn't touch your tiramisu, Andrew. There's absolutely no way I could've poisoned it as you claim. I have proof—I recorded the whole process. You can see for yourselves." Andrew's eyes widened just a fraction, and only for a split second. His usual gentle expression became slightly twisted. I played the video. The lights from the dessert place flickered across the screen. The footage was crystal clear, and my voice came out from the phone's speakers. "One blueberry tiramisu to-go, please." The shop owner, Clara Bennett, didn't even look up. "We're out of blueberries." "Out? Okay, then. I'll take the grape one."

“Just do whatever you want. I’m going out soon.” Without another word, she turned her attention back to her phone, laughing at something she saw online. Jamie stood there for a few more seconds, his heart sinking. He thought she would at least pretend to help. But her voice had sounded so cold. So different from Maya’s. He turned around and slowly walked back upstairs. In his room, Jamie sat back down with his materials. He looked around at the mess of papers and tools. It was going to be hard doing this alone, but he didn’t want to fail. He wanted to try.

Johnny stares back at me with a look of pure terror in his eyes. I can smell the fear mixed with blood. I walk towards him with a predatory glare. “ Johnny, Johnny, typical. I should have known you were the traitor.” “Mmmmm” Johnny wiggles against the ties that bind him. Sweat pours into his eyes. I rip the gray duct tape from his smile and smirk in satisfaction as he screams out in pain. His beard hairs pull along with the tape.

But every day was a disappointment. I hold Jamie's hand gently, before kissing it softly. "I'm sorry for not being able to protect you," I mumbled under my breath. Her hand softly twitched, maybe it was my imagination. But I can't have imagined it, right? I mind linked to one of the staff to bring Tara up. Tara was the leader of the coven. She went inside Jamie's mind every day, hoping she could find her and bring her back. But she said her soul wasn't in her body anymore. A shiver ran down my spine at the thought.

He gave her an annoyed glare but then she showed him her pleading eyes. "They might feel bad if we leave like this, so please…just wait for the cake cutting and then we will go back home. Promise…please. I have never seen such kind of celebration party," she told him the truth that she had never been to such kind of gatherings ever in her life before. He sighed and gave up to those alluring blue eyes. "Only till the cake cutting," Her smile came back. She hugged his arm. "Thank you so much," He chuckled and then wiped that ice cream from the corner of her lips with his thumb and then she dragged him with her where the cake was but they both didn't know that they were getting watched.

Jamie wanted me to finish high school, she wanted me to go to a local college, meet a pretty girl, find happiness, and live a normal life away from all this. But I am tired of it, I am tired of watching my sister work seven days a week, and putting her life on hold. I don’t want to be taken care of, and I don’t want a white picket fence life. There is too much darkness inside me, and it’s too late. “I really hope you know what you are doing. If something happens to her because of your arrogance and foolishness, believe it or not, I will come after you.” He says, making me silently laugh at his threat.

And then, suddenly— I heard his thoughts. It wasn’t a voice in my head, not exactly, but I could hear it clear as day, layered beneath the silence of the room. "Jamie still loves Amara. Killing her in the image of the woman he and Corey are fated to marry will make sure neither of them can ever truly accept her. If they reject their future Luna, my war can go on as planned." My breath caught in my throat. I swallowed, fighting to keep my expression neutral, but inside, excitement sparked through me like wildfire. It finally clicked—

Jamie snapped fiercely, making the veins by the sides of her neck pop. “…I am not a citizen of the UAE! You aren’t either and I didn’t know anyone who could help me out! You committed a crime and you had to pay for it… and so I see no reason why you’d pay me back by sleeping with my man and pretending to be me!” The other girl opened her mouth to speak again but before she could, I immediately interrupted her; “What the hell is happening here, Jamie?” I whispered in a corner that sounded just too calm, I almost felt as though it wasn’t me talking.

On the contrary, Jam didn’t know that this was all a setup, the incident they had now was all intentional because she had been investigated and all her information is gathered. Franz also knew about Damien, that’s why he decided to see her as early as right now. He wants this girl so much that his possessiveness to her is too much, they can’t deny the bond that they have and he will be willing to take the risk. As Jam back in reality she takes a step back and she fainted… "Are you sure, we need to do this?" Nate asks me. "Ah-huh... I need to do this..." he said.

Aren’t they beautiful?” A gasp escapes my lips. “Jamie…do you realize what you’re saying?” “He never hurt me!” she shrieks. “He loves me! He wants only me! Why did you have to show up?! You!
