"Haahaa, of course, it's a gown; it's for the Winter Ball," Shanice answered nonchalantly like it was a norm for their boss to order dresses for her. But this woman - this being - is a force of nature who bends the elements themselves to her will. She holds herself like an alpha, giving off a scent of authority and power befitting any Luna. Becoming a mother seems to have suited my friend very well. I can only imagine that if she’d been this strong during her marriage to Ethan, Eve would never have been able to get her claws into the imposing alpha. Even her appearance has changed. Jane has always been beautiful, with her long golden hair and flawless porcelain skin, but where she used to downplay her looks, she now embraces them. Even dressed in simple work clothes, she looks so effortlessly lovely I feel like a slob standing next to her

Flora called her a traitor and declared that she would purge her as a warning to others—which was why Sienna came. Seeing that Janice could stand, she asked, "Can you head to the nurse's room alone?" Janice nodded. "Yes…" "Good. Go there now." Janice tamely turned around and ran. When she was just a couple paces away, she mustered her courage to turn and asked despite her stammer, "W-What about you, Sienna?" Sienna merely smiled at her faintly but dazzlingly. "I'll avenge you." It was a short line, but Janice's tears started flowing right when she heard that, and she bit down firmly on her lips so that she would not start bawling.

Jane's face looked even whiter under that light. Nothing happened. "You..." The Queen was obviously surprise when Jane was scared motionless. The Queen said augustly, "Or I will take your life this time." "I-I'm Jane Watson." Jane said with a light voice, "I was left at the door step of a pair of human and only found out that I have magic later."

Sofia's Point of View "You think I am weak? Well, then, let's see how weak I am. I, Sofia Jones, The future Werewolf Queen, challenge you, Jane Young. This will be a battle to the death. Do you accept, or are you too scared?" I asked "Oh, you don't scare me. I accept," Jane replied. She had shifted back into her human form and was now naked.

Julia’s face had gone pale. “Do you know who he is?” she asked. Valerie nodded slowly. “Drugo Hawthorne.” Julia sucked in a sharp breath. “That—Val, that’s dangerous,” she said immediately. “Do you know what kind of man that is?” Valerie shook her head. “I didn’t even know his name until after.” Julia gripped her hands tighter. “Does your family know?” “No,” Valerie said quickly. “They can’t. If they find out—”

Agent Vernon chuckled. “She was a good fighter,” Agent Jane said while trying to stop herself from giggling. “They said she had quick hands and she could usually put down her opponent in just a few seconds. She was a vicious fighter. They called her The Gunmetal Mama. Sometimes she would come out holding a gun that wasn’t loaded. Every time she’d come out to fight, they would play music by her favorite rapper, Tupac Shakur,” Agent Jane explained through her giggling.

"Saved you from what?" Jane didn't look at him. Her eyes stayed fixed on me. "From myself. From the darkness. I was nothing before him. Less than nothing. Broken, discarded, worthless." She tilted her head. "But he saw something in me. He gave me a reason to live." I stepped closer. "He sent you to kill innocent people. To kidnap women. To harm children." Jane's smile didn't waver. "Those people weren't innocent. They served the Montrel empire. They protected a monster." Her eyes gleamed. "You."
