Just then Aelfric decided that it was time to intervene. He grabbed my hand and slapped Tyrelle's grip on my hair that made him let go. "Go find your own woman, mutt!" He said and stick his tongue out at him. "I'm not your woman!" I yelled. "You know the hybrid." Said Tyrelle. "So I guess you are Gabriella the Killer smile."

Jack read. Jack started listing other names, “Thomas Bookerman, Terrance Grey, Stephen Moore, all unknown lineage!” “But the others, we read loads that had parents,” Alissa argued. “They had Fathers!” Jack turned to another page, “Amory Thissle and then Rudolphus Howthorne, it says nothing about mothers.”

Jane asked with a smile as she placed the pack of pizza on the bed between us. “No. But there's something I need answers to something.” I spoke, making a stern expression stable on my face. Jane looked at me with curiosity and uncertainty. “What's that?” She finally asked. Then I rose to my feet and walked up to the drawer and brought out the photos and information about Xaden. “What's this about?” I demanded an answer. Jane went quiet and she only looked at the photos and file which was in my hands. Her eyes had widened and her eyebrows were raised.

The bouquet slipped from her fingers onto the floor. “Oh, my God.” Elliot looked towards her slowly. Something in his expression made her stop moving entirely. “Elliot…” His voice sounded rough when he finally spoke. “Did you know?” Jane stared at him blankly. “What?” “That she killed him.” The colour drained visibly from Jane’s face. “What are you talking about?” “My father.” Silence swallowed the room instantly. Elliot pushed himself upright slowly despite the pain pulling through his body. “Did you know Helina tampered with his brakes?”

“Aren’t you delusional, Joey? Do you think things can go back the way they were?” Joey was taken aback. “What’s going on, Jennie?” Gale asked. “Jake is dead, and Anna is the killer. I must avenge Jake!” I uttered, holding back the rage. For a brief moment, Gale was devastated over Jake’s death. “The rogues killed Jake, Dad. It wasn’t me. Joey was there,” Anna wailed. Anna shot Joey a pleading look. Once again, Joey was in Anna’s corner. “It’s true. I was there. Jake was killed by the rogues while trying to keep Anna and Jennie safe.”
