Another one named Jeremy came in with a bright smile. He was a beautiful lad. He had orange hair, brown bright gazes…. Why does Landon have such beautiful people around him? Drizzy gave him a questioning look. Ethan chuckled. He walked past Drizzy to sit at the edge of the table before saying "I'm not hiding Drizz. You will know the night after tomorrow". CHAPTER EIGHT – “Ember’s Secret” Rowan woke to the faint sound of crackling. At first, she thought it was the fireplace. Then she realized the sound was coming from her desk—where Ember, her flame spirit, hovered, glowing brighter than usual. The tiny fireball floated closer, his light pulsing like a heartbeat. “Ember?” she whispered, pushing herself upright. “What’s wrong?” The spirit didn’t answer in words. Instead, a thin, wavering voice curled into her mind—like whispers carried on smoke.

One woman cried as her fingers twisted halfway into claws that wouldn’t fully form. “This shouldn’t be happening,” Gamma whispered. “The Blood Moon has never done this.” Darius rose slowly, his chest heavy. It wasn’t just the moon. It wasn’t just the sky. Something else was stirring. Something old. Something tied to Velise’s warnings. Tied to Ember’s dreams.
