I say in my defense as he reads. “What happened in that encounter he is apologizing for? Where and when did you see each other?” Jareth inquires once he is done reading. My blood freezes. How did I not see this coming? Of course he was going to ask about the content of the letter. I can not tell Jareth about what happened in the car.
