“Tali’s right. Andy needs a sense of normalcy he and Cathy can provide right now. Your priority is Eniana.” Jason shakes his head, squinting into the sun to hide his troubled expression. It’s the first time I’ve seen his rage. I’ve read it between the lines of the long, drawn out journal entries he’d send through the twin journals. Tales of horrors I’d rather not remember that bled over the page and soaked into my mind like nightmares I couldn’t shake. I could have stopped it. If I had been here, I could have put an end to it immediately. Jason rises and walks away, joining the group on the shore. Fallon looks up from the pile of seashells Koa just presented to her and meets my gaze.

He cleared his throat and tossed them onto a table nearby, flushing a deep shade of red in the process. “Er, nothing,” he said, smiling sheepishly and rubbing the back of his neck. “I was just… Um… You’re Sophia, right? Kieran’s Beta’s sister?” I nodded, then glanced at the pile of garments beside him. “Date night with Jessica?” Jason’s shoulders sagged at the mention of his girlfriend, which surprised me. I knew he still craved Charlotte, who was once his mate, but he had cheated on her with Jessica. That was what the rumor mill claimed, at least. Everyone assumed he would mark Jessica now that Charlotte was taken.

“I don’t want to see Jason, but his mom is the sweetest woman alive. She’s the reason I’m doing this.” Todd rolled his eyes, and I punched him lightly in the shoulder. “So we go to Jerky Jason’s after you take the IQ test,” Todd continued, a serious look on his face as he tapped on his iPad. “Then we take a heart-wrenching break apart from each other to rest and freshen up, attend the game together, and finally…” Todd leaned over with a sexy smile. “We get some Todd-and-Rory time.” He started blowing raspberries on my neck, and I giggled until my stomach hurt.

He said simply. Jason burst through the door like he lived there as usual. Seeing me he walked over putting his arm over my shoulder like he always does. “I heard you and sis got some hooch and are gonna get the Beta drunk and do dirty things to him. You naughty girls.” He said sarcastically. Eric’s chest vibrated, a low growl emitting from him. “Mine.” “Holy shit. What kind of Sasquatch, Titan giant ass mother fucker are you.” Jason said as all the color drained from his face.

Suzan explained her situation in detail, and then said cautiously: "Do you know Mr Elon? I want to ask you to tell me. I don't want to marry his son..." Chapter 5 Jason's pov; "Please don't do this, if you want to hurt me, you can but, please leave my friends off of this," I said to him as I cried out loud. I am still shocked by the death of Daniel, and cannot see all of my friends die because of me. "Ok let's put it this way, I will set you free but, you must promise to follow your new family back home, if you try to be stubborn, then all your friends die." He said to me and I have no other choice than to obey his words.

Fred deadpanned. "Yeah, that's the problem, Tiff. Ciara would never love him. She never did. And she never would. Not when he's been so cruel to her. So, yeah, Jason is in another mess. And a more reason why he needs to return here. He needs help. Or he might go insane with all the confusing emotions he's already feeling. Or might start feeling soon. And at some point, the pain will become physical. He'd experience aches that can only die down when he's close to her. And soon, Ciara would ultimately become his lifeline. Imagine such an ill fate.
