Asher's POV “Jeez!” I gasped, seeing a Jasmine that could pass for a ghost. "What happened?” Jasmine was terribly devastated. She looked a mess, like a shadow of herself, and even worse like she survived the apocalypse. She was flushed, with tons of poker dots that were like freckles. She was terribly scared and reacting. Instead of responding, she broke down, sobbing. Words failed her... Or maybe her strength failed... Or both. Her bag dropped to the floor and she hugged me tightly, clinging to me like life itself.
