Jayden stood by the bed, his hair even messier than before, his bare chest still marked with faint scratches from the night before.
Thankfully he had worn shorts before going to bed, or that would have distracted her. He stretched, his muscles rippling as he did, before flashing her an amused smile.
How didn’t she hear him coming out of the bed?
“You look like you’ve seen a ghost,” he teased, stepping closer.
Zendaya gulped as she tried to compose herself, but her heart was pounding. “It’s nothing,” she said quickly, shaking her head.
Jayden’s brows furrowed, his playful expression giving way to concern. “Nothing? You’re holding your phone like it’s about to explode. What’s going on?”
