"I haven't needed them," Jade complained, shuffling over to the living room mirror to inspect herself. Her eyes were puffy and red. "Since I got these contacts, I can see perfectly fine without my glasses."
She pulled the itchy wig off her head, tossing it aside. "I already have an appointment with my optometrist anyway, so stop worrying, snowman."
"I'm making breakfast today," Jace offered, a bright smile breaking across his face.
Jade folded her arms, studying his expression. "Wow, someone's in a great mood. Care to share with the class?"
