The lady was taller than her and had long and full hair that looked so healthy. She also had a pretty face that looked prettier with her smile. "Hello," Caitlyn simply said, quite confused about who the lady is. "My name's Kate. I moved in today. Next door," She explained. "Ah!" Caitlyn breathed down with a small chuckle. "What were you thinking? That I'm here to kidnap you?" The lady joked and they laughed. "You're welcome. My name's Caitlyn." "Nice to meet you, Caitlyn," She said and extended her hand for a handshake. "Nice to meet you, Kate," Caitlyn took her hand with a smile.

AIMEE’S POV My name is Aimee Garcia and for the longest time, I have been all alone, I have no family and I witnessed my parents being murdered when I was just three years old. I moved between foster homes and several families but I never felt like I belonged with any of them. Despite my unfortunate childhood, I centered my life and goals on attending college, trying to get a degree so I could get a good job and build a better life for myself. I pride myself as a smart young woman and I only believe in factual, logical happenings in the world. Trisha asked and Aimee burst into laughter almost immediately. “You must be the most delusional human being I have ever laid eyes on,” Aimee said to Trisha. “That you would think that I, Aimee Landon, would hide from a lowlife like you is beyond me,” Aimee added, aggravating Trisha.

Rodney sat behind the desk, while Liam awkwardly sank into one of the leather chairs and tried to look anywhere but at the other man's eyes. Now they watched her the way people watched a gathering storm on the horizon, waiting anxiously to see what it would destroy when it finally arrived. A sudden knock interrupted her heavy thoughts. Before she could respond, the door opened slightly. Luna Miriam entered the room with quiet grace. She was Ryan’s aunt, one of the oldest and most respected wolves in the entire pack. Aria straightened immediately, surprised by the late visit. “Miriam.” The older woman offered a small, gentle smile. “I could not sleep.” Aria almost laughed at the shared admission. “Neither could I.”

Her voice as she screamed played in my mind, but I had other things to be taking care of and the last thing that I needed right now is to deal with her. “Amelia got hurt, Luna. She is bleeding badly. One of the nurses found her. Miss Selene kept calling for help. She was taking a shower when she saw her on the floor.” The nurse explained, looking down at her feet. But i still picked the call anyways. "Hi, please are you by anyways, Miss Selene Woods?" - A feminine voice came from the other end, soft, polite and yet, straight to the point. "Yes, i am she!!. How may i be of help to you?" - I replied in a wary tone. "Great!!. My name is Anne Moreau, i'm a manager at Livelia entertainment and also a friend of the professor." - She introduced herself briefly, her tone filled with strict professionalism. " Oh..." - I gasped.

She didn’t talk much as I looked her over… Though, she avoided eye contact. “Here’s a cloth to cover up with. Your sister is waiting for you in Jamira’s bedroom. Theodore will be back soon with clothes.” She shook her head okay, and went to the room, only saying thank you before she left. I went down the stairs again… Ready for the last child. I was surprised by what I saw though. “Do you think Layla will keep us? I want to prove to her we are useful. That we can help.” Tempest was talking to Jamira. I slid against the wall, hoping they did not hear me.

Aimie nervously laughs at Rain with a nervous look, as if she had done something terrible against Rain’s back. “I...I’m just chatting with my friend,” because of her surprise Aimie could not stop herself from stuttering. She almost immediately fidgets her fingers as soon as she gives Rain her excuse, making Rain able to read what was going on in Aimie’s mind based on her actions alone.
