’ Billy’s face lit up with positivity as soon as I uttered the word ‘No’. ‘So, why don’t you want to talk about it my pretty? ‘Because Billy, I am a murderer. I cannot believe that not too long ago, I Petunia just killed two people.’ I stood up from where I was sitting and walked towards the window. I started crying hysterically, almost forgetting that Billy was still in the room. It began to hit me that, two sisters were dead and I was the killer. ‘Okay okay okay, calm down my pretty,’ Billy held me and spoke softly to me. ‘You don’t want your neighbours to know what we had done right? So sit down and just breath.’ He held me gently and placed me on the bed in a sleeping position.

“I remember when Joe found out you were part of the APM. He asked to join.” “That was just a ruse,” his father said. “I’m sure of it.” “Jasper had one of ‘em in the hideout,” said the third guy. “They rescued him and left Jasper face down in the dirt floor. I know the old woman was with ‘em. Even if she didn’t actually do the deed, she got her just desserts for helping those that killed my boy while rescuing a shadow walker.” “I’ve never been part of a killing before,” Jeff said nervously. “Burying a shadow walker’s body before he can get back to it isn’t the same as sticking a skewer into an old woman’s lungs and letting her bleed out.”

Sean asked. "I said it was Colonel Zinn," Diego replied. "Good," Sean said. This approach spared him the trouble of lengthy explanations. After all, he preferred to keep his involvement with Melania and Blake to a minimum. "What about that guy? Has he confessed everything?" Sean cut to the chase. Since Diego had called him, it meant that the interrogation was wrapping up. "He spilled everything," Diego reported. "His name's Jeff, and he's a mercenary out of Wysteria. He was hired this time by a woman named 'Ms. J' to assassinate Blake in Skye City."

“I-I’m sorry. I can’t tell you.” Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Jeffrey sneaking up on the gunman. I just needed to keep him distracted for a little longer. “Yes, you can. You’re going to kill me anyway, right? I deserve to know who wants me dead.” The man growled in frustration and ran his free hand through his hair. “You don’t understand!” Just as the homeless werewolf cocked his gun, Jeffrey pounced on him. He pinned the other man’s arms down with his legs and ripped the pistol out of his hand, throwing it far out of his reach.

He supported my back with a pillow. Ray sighed deeply and lowered his head. “Why is all this happening?” Sighs. “Ray, it’s Jeff. Have you arrested him? I told you he was at the funeral home, but you didn’t believe me and now he…” “What’s that?” He interrupted me. “Jeff, of course. He was the one who stabbed me, he is after my life, Ray. Please help me.” To my surprise, he chuckled and shook his head. “What is wrong with you, Ray? Didn’t you hear what I was saying?”

But deep down, he knew this was the truth and he could not deny it. “Did you kill him?” he asked suddenly. Kyla’s eyes widened in shock. “What? No! Why would you even ask that?” Jeffrey’s voice grew harsher. “The fake kidnapping, the fake marriage… Now we’re fake siblings too? Oh, and I saw your weapons! What the hell do you really do, Kyla?” He stood up, his anger spilling out of him. Kyla looked at him, stunned. For a moment, she thought she would cry right there, but she fought them back. “I know what you think, Jeffrey. But it's nothing like it, I didn’t kill your father.”

Jefferson said, and spat on the floor. “He won’t find you. Your car has no tracking system, your phone’s at the motel. He’ll reach that dead end and even if he knows where I live, which I’m sure he does, he won’t get to me. I went to prison an innocent man, but I left there a murderer. I killed seven men in prison, got myself the name ‘Wrath’ on the inside. You think you know me, but you don’t. You sitting in that chair … that’s what I do now. I kill men like you for money and I’m really fucking good at it. You turned me into this.” “Am I supposed to feel sorry for you? Kill me if that’s what you have planned,” Jefferson said.

I said, ignoring his dismissive tone. "That case was closed over a year ago," Jeff sighed, rubbing his temples. "Don't cause a ruse, Valerie. We’ve been through this." "Why? Because you want to believe I killed them, just like the rest of the world? Or because you think I’ve gone eccentric and it’s easier to ignore a crazy woman than it is to do your job? Which one is it, Jeff?" Jeff sank into his seat, a long, heavy sigh escaping his lips. "Your parents died in a tragic accident. It was an open-and-shut case."
