The woman finally got up and decided to put on her straw beach hat. After that, Jazlyn slowly left the book with Ace who was still asleep. Since arriving at the beach, Jazlyn has only been busy reading a book about pregnancy sent by Emma from New York. Emma gave her many books about pregnancy and also about how a child is finally born into the world and how to take care of a newborn child. Even though Ace has prepared a personal doctor for this. However, Jazlyn still likes to read the book that was sent directly from New York. Her longing now deepens for the city where she lives.

No matter how much time went by, she would never get used to Chuck’s creepiness; although she tolerated it much better now than she used to. “I’ll have coffee, doll,” he said in the syrupy manner that Pam found so repulsive. “Yeah, give me coffee and Toast with jelly.”

I dashed out of the room to meet Jada who was waiting at the library. As I got there, there were already several books thrown around the tables. She climbed the ladder and was on the fifth shelf, searching relentlessly for something. “I can't find it.” She turned towards me, cleaning the beads of sweat from her forehead. “The book of seers, it should be here somewhere.” I moved to the other shelves, trying to find the book as well. All that I saw were books about martial arts and elemental control. “Here it is.” Jada breathed heavily and climbed down the ladder with a heavy-looking book in her hand.

What I needed was a journal or something. When I came across a book about theories and endless possibilities, I decided it was worth a try. Taking the book into the library's loft, I found an oversized beanbag and sat on it. As I read the book, I received a text message from Diana, informing me Zydan had left, and she was getting ready to go home.

We're on the downward swing of it now, the main conflict resolved with only the aftermath of the battle left to go through. It's a more emotional part of the story and I'm surprised Pearl even read it.
