Those eyes that used to be so cold were now bloodshot and frightening.
He shoved the French man aside roughly, his hand already on the gun at his waist, a low growl forcing its way out of his throat.
"Get lost! She's my wife! Who gave you permission to touch her?"
The French man jumped back, startled. I was disgusted by this sudden circus act.
Without expression, I reached out and pushed Dominic away. Hard enough to make him stagger back two steps.
"Dominic, are you ever going to stop?" I looked at him. There was no anger in my eyes. Only disgust. "I'll say it one more time. We ended a long time ago. Legally, emotionally—you are nothing."
