Today nothing happened. Absolutely nothing. "You've been staring at that page for five minutes." Jessica looked up. Sophie dropped into the seat beside her holding two drinks. Jessica blinked. "How do you keep doing that?" "What?" "Appearing." Sophie looked thoughtful. "I travel through walls." Jessica stared. "What?" Sophie nodded seriously. "I am mostly supernatural."

Sasha asks, but her voice has an echo to it as if her words are being heard from far away. “I was on a hike. She had dreamt of her father's death before he eventually died. Her mother believed she had some kind of supernatural power that could make her foretell things that would happen or were already happening.

Jess began, her voice steady yet laced with the weight of years of secrecy, "Supernaturals exist. They are beings beyond our understanding, beyond what ordinary people can see or comprehend. They are powerful, and some can be dangerous." She paused, gathering her thoughts before continuing. "The Master... he is one of them. He found me when I was young, desperate, and he offered me protection and money in exchange for my service. I had no choice but to agree." What do I do now, Moon?" Jessica's hands shook as she attempted to hold Moon's head. Her eyes welled up with tears as she saw Moon writhing in pain but unable to voice a single moan. "You are a devil!” Jessica shouted in anger, looking up at Stefen.

"Oh, Charlotte, I can take care of myself. I don’t want you to involve yourself in this, especially now that your belly will soon be growing.” Ignoring the comment, Charlotte said, "Rebecca, do you know that Derek has been compelled to avoid us?" Rebecca nodded bitterly, remembering the last time they met. "Yes, I saw it happen." "How was Jessica able to do that?" Charlotte asked, her gaze searching for answers. “Jessica is a vampire,” Rebecca whispered. “A... vamp...?” Charlotte stammered, her eyes wide with disbelief. Rebecca took her hands and held them comfortingly. “Jessica is a vampire, and one of their abilities is to compel humans into doing what they want.”
