I took it with me when I ran because I thought it might be important.” She handed it to me and I opened it carefully, seeing pages covered in a handwriting I don’t understand. “What is it?” “It’s your mother’s book” Jessica said. “It covers everything you need to know. Your mother would have used this when she was learning, and it should work for you too since you have her bloodline.”

Valerina said confused. "No I just came here to meet you guys, I didn't know that Arthur is here." She shrugged. Valerina looked bothered. "I don't want your mother to misunderstand" "Don't worry about her..." Jessica waved off. "She won't misunderstand when I am here." "Okay, So we are done here... Let's go to the back yard..." That was the message I got from the little pampered rich girl in front of me. “Alpha Finnley, you know I was actually out hunting yesterday when we caught a doe with her fawns, two of them,” Jessica smiled prettily, side-eyeing me as she said, “Didn’t have a clue she’d led me straight to them. The doe was a bit difficult to go down, but the fawns were nothing at all. I had no idea the body could still move without its head- all twitching and jerking wildly, the doe still trying to get to her fawns.”
