Jessica called out in uncertainty. "Over here in the study." Vicky's voice from another room. Jessica followed her friend's voice and soon came upon Vicky in the study. "Wow..." Jessica was awed at the sight that met her eyes when she came upon Vicky. Her friend Vicky sat in the small study surrounded by heaps upon heaps of books. Vicky still had books before her on the table and was going through them. There were books of different sizes and colours all over the desk and the girl had another big grey ancient looking book and was peering into it attentively.

With that, she stopped overthinking and prepared to go to sleep. I don't know if it was because of Terry's words, but Jessica had a dream that night. She dreamt that she turned into a rabbit, but the other rabbits bullied her and didn't let her eat grass. One day, a wolf suddenly snatched her away. Jessica thought she was done for, but to her surprise, the wolf just placed her in a place full of grass and carrots, and then the wolf ran away. Just that night, she saw the wolf again, but the wolf still didn't eat her. It just glanced at her and ran away.

My movements come to a halt when it snaps its neck in my direction, its black, beady eyes pinning me to the spot. It was so cute, there was no way I could kill this thing. One second, it was standing right in front of me, and the next, the snapping of its neck filled my ears. Its head hung lifelessly from the snout of a wolf. Kiara. Her brilliant amber eyes met mine for only a second, but I could see the mockery and humour in them. She broke the contact between us and ran towards what I am assuming to be her basket with her newfound kill.

She took one and unwrapped it before she made her way to the room’s door. Jess had not run into anybody yet, but the bigger problem is she had no idea where she was and how to get out of her. As she made it down the hall, two voices could be heard, Jess turned the first doorknob she could find and run into the room. She softly closed the door and pressed herself against the wall hoping that now one could see her through the glass part of the door.
