How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

If I succeeded, it would be worth it to save time, and if I failed, no charge. It only took a couple of seconds before I felt something move under my hands. A heartbeat. Loran opened his eyes and sucked in his first noisy breath. I jumped back, a little startled by the sudden reanimation. “Everything okay?” shouted Jenny. Still no one coming to my aid. “Yes,” I shouted over my shoulder. “It’s alive!” Loran sat up and shook his head clear. It took him a few seconds to get his bearings, then he squinted to get me into focus. “You’re the sorcerer the Masters are looking for?”

The Great Wizard

The Great Wizard

At least I have to defend myself. Harry occasionally glanced at Kirey who was already busy eating the chocolate-flavored candy. "But why did you get an egg score?" "I was too lazy to write the answer, so I just answered it from my head. Shorter, clearer, and more concise. Mr. Dani alone can't hear my telepathy Harry. He's just an old fart that smells of graves, come on. You're being serious. Face the creatures of the earth!" "Earth creature? So what are you? Satan?"

Jade: The Hybrid Mage

Jade: The Hybrid Mage

“You’re stronger than you think.” Nyomei’s stomach twisted, but she rose anyway. “Thanks,” she said quietly, nerves prickling under her skin. She walked toward the gate that led out to the sparring ground, each step heavier than the last. Across the field, her opponent was already grinning as he warmed up. Wiry, confident, and brimming with kinetic energy. He bounced on the balls of his feet, fists flaring with dull-orange sparks. “Your opponent,” the announcer said, “is Orin Zarrin. Mage class. Energy Burst magic.”

Alpha Sage

Alpha Sage

I bumped into Henry, a sorcerer who had saved me on my way to the southern pack claiming that I was digging my own grave if I dared to go there. I don't fully trust Henry for now but he wasn't as bad as I had imagined him to be. He has been quite helpful, one could say. I wanted to sever all ties with Sage and not ever walk back into his life or have anything to do with him but fate had other plans for us, now I am bounded to him completely. I am carrying his heir and I’m sure if not now, sooner or later he’d come to figure out my whereabouts, I can hide under Henry's cocoon for too long

ALPHA JAKE

ALPHA JAKE

The spiders outside the barrier seemed to sense the shift, their movements growing more frantic. “Jake, keep them off me,” I said without looking up. “Always,” he replied, stepping closer to the barrier with his sword at the ready. As the spell took shape, I felt the familiar tug of the magical current, pulling me into its depths. Images flashed through my mind—Jena’s cruel smile, her hands weaving dark magic, and the towering form of Jacob at her side. “You can’t win,” Jena’s voice whispered in my mind, cold and mocking. “This is only the beginning.”

Contractually Yours, Alpha

Contractually Yours, Alpha

It wasn’t wise to make an enemy of the sorceress, but he had made a promise to Riley; she would be disappointed if he failed her. He closed his eyes and muttered a spell. He didn’t want to hurt the sorceress, but he wanted her out of the way. The spell would only make her fall into a deep slumber; the moment this was over, she would awaken. He opened his eyes, only to see Jade unfazed. “I came prepared; I knew you wouldn’t be willing to give it up so easily.” The warlock didn’t expect the kick Jade had sent at him; she was never a physical person. She got him hard in the kneecap, and he had let go of the amulet, she used the opportunity to grasp it, and then she was gone.

Wow! Just wow! I could hardly put this book down! I wasn’t sure how fast I could read over 600 chapters but I did do it quite quickly considering my reluctance in taking breaks. Highly recommend reading this!

I loved this book so much. I had so many emotional moments, laughing, crying, happy, sad and scared. I couldn't put it down. I just wish that Axel had lived and found his own mate and that Thane and Riley were blessed by the goddess and became real mates.

Revenge of Flame Luna

Revenge of Flame Luna

“But I thought—” “Yeah. Everyone thought so.” Silence stretched between us. Her expression slowly softened, her fear melting away. She studied my face, probably looking for traces of Mum in me. “What do you need from me?” she finally asked. “I’m looking for someone.” I bit my lip. “A sorcerer. I don’t know his name. He appeared a while ago. Tall, around six feet… sea-blue eyes, deep voice.” She looked away, thinking hard. After a few seconds, she shook her head.

The Hidden Princess At All-Boys Alpha Academy

The Hidden Princess At All-Boys Alpha Academy

Because I quite like the idea of Jackson as my weapon. Jackson smirks, helping me tuck the last strands of my hair beneath the brim. “Where on earth did my mate go? Now there’s only her boyish twin, Ari Clark, marksman and chemical mastermind…” “Don’t forget powerful sorcerer,” I say, lofty, as we both turn away from the plateau, and start out in the blue light of the morning. “Oh, how could I forget,” he murmurs behind me, “melter of very tiny pieces of glass…such raw power…”

Excellent storyline. Ending lacking completion. The last chapter was rushed skipped a year in the timeline. Very disappointing. Same with Julie's story. That said will the other stories be written, Rafe's, Jesse's $ Mark's?

I am really really enjoying this book! Initially, I wasn’t too keen on the double fated mates premise, but as I keep reading it all comes together. I love how exciting the story unfolds. All the characters, the smart funny banter, the friendships, character growth, and story development is awesome!

THE OUTCAST’S ALPHA MATE: LOVE AND REDEMPTION

THE OUTCAST’S ALPHA MATE: LOVE AND REDEMPTION

Jorak replied carefully, his hand wrapping around a short, milk-colored, opaque two-inch crystal shaped like a pyramid at the top with a long, four-inch stem. “If you can’t determine the strength, determine the release of the magic, Jorak. That should be simple enough,” Tobias stated patiently, placing a hand on the spellcaster’s stiff shoulder. Jorak glanced away from the Alpha, his eyes squinting into the distance. His shoulder relaxed. “Yes…” he replied slowly, “control the release…” His head snapped to Tobias. “You are the best student I never had, Alpha Tobias,” Jorak said with more pride than the elderly shifter expected, surprising himself into his ears reddening slightly.

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

A series of sounds could be heard from the surrounding void. The sound became louder and louder as the light moved forward. It was like rolling thunder, turbulent tides, and continuous thunders! This was not the skill Jessica had learned in Dark Moon Sect. This was innate sorcery he comprehended after her Pure Jade Physique was upgraded to a certain stage! Just like Maya Kaye's Flame Phoenix Physique, she would awaken her innate sorcery Scorching Flame Phoenix Blood Refining Magic. The realm of Holy Land Realm, the battle with the Corpse General, the farewell of Autumn Waters Sword, the need of the companions behind her and the desperation awakened Jessica’s innate sorcery at this moment.

What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.
