Billy walked closer to us, his eyes darting from one person to the next. “We were watching a horror movie before you walked in,” I explained. “Which one?” Billy’s lips rose in a smile. The tense look replaced by laugh lines. “The Hills Have Eyes, we watched both of them.” He laughed and sat on the table facing us. “That scared Joe pretty good too. The first one isn’t as bad as the second.” “What’s so funny?” Joe walked into the room and threw Billy a shirt. “They watched your favorite movie,” Billy said between laughs. He pulled the shirt over his head and picked up the bottle of whiskey on the table and gulped down some of it.

Lilly Lug Nut brings me to the club house the next morning. I’m confused as to why. I always have a lazy day after a show. I’m not on duty today. I asked Lug and all he said was that we needed to meet with Prez. I wonder if he has an update on who is following me? When we get to the club I notice a lot more bikes and a few cars that are normally here at this hour. And if that weren’t odd enough, just before we got to the gates of the compound I got the feeling that I was being watched again. I have this feeling in the pit of my stomach that today is going to be a bad day. I don’t know why but I feel like something bad is going to happen. “ Lug I have a bad feeling about this.” Lug stops “ L

Silence lingered between them. The rest of the flight was quiet as Kevin sat in another seat at the back busy signing documents and discussing business matters while Emma read a book and intermittently looked out the window watching the scenery below and sometimes stealing a glance back at him and caught him looking at her. After an hour, Kevin walked to her, checking on her as she drifted off to sleep. The leather-bound book she was reading lay open on her lap, the words written on its open page clearly visible; “If I know what love is, it is because of you!" Kevin smiled and then put the book aside. There was no lie in it.

I grabbed my sweater and keys, tiptoeing my way through the house not to make a sudden noise waking everybody up. Once in my car, I drove to the address my grandpa had sent me. It was Joe's Diner, Jordyn's dad's restaurant. I know they are open 24/hours every weekend, but why here. I parked my car and quickly went inside, away from the cold night. Stepping in, the host greeted me, asking how many, and I told her I was meeting someone. I looked around to see that all of the Walkers were elsewhere. I sigh in relief.

His eyes turned toward Olivia, who was stepping out of the kitchen carrying a birthday cake that read Happy Birthday, Niko! Inside the house, Joe was busy organizing a fresh stack of books that had just arrived from the printer. On the cover, bold letters read: Voice from the Darkness – A Story of Hope and Love in the Storm. The book had become a symbol of their journey—a testimony to love, pain, and healing that wasn’t always smooth, but always real. Joe’s eyes welled up as he stared at the cover. On the dedication page, he had written: > For those who were once lost in the dark… may you find the voice to come back.

Books by John Grisham, Sidney Sheldon, Colleen Hoover, James Patterson and Ted Dekker. Jamaal Amir Haidar reads novels, crime most especially. I'm even shocked to see he reads Colleen Hoover's books too. I picked one of the books and began to smell the fresh scent of newly printed books. The door opened suddenly, Jamaal stepped in with little Ahmad in his arms. The little boy had his hands wrapped around his brother's neck. I stared at Jamaal in shock, seeing Jamaal holding his younger brother, trying to lure him to sleep shocked me.

"Really? I thought so too when I watched me this morning. The book must be working." "What book?" Bar asked Horr. "A book I bought. it was titled: 'How To Become A Great Host!'. Written by Joe Tiger." Horr explained but Wilson and Bar had no idea who the writer was. "Joe Tiger?" Bar asked. "Yes! Joe Tiger!" Horr repeated, looking at Bar as if expecting him to know this Joe. Bar shook his head. "Still doesn't ring a bell?" Horr pressed on. "No!" Bar shook his head. "You... how could you forget just like that?" Horr looked hurt and pouted. It looked kind of funny; a fearful looking giant giving such a face.

Some of the suggestions were actually already going to be happening anyway, but as a fan of this book, I want to know what you want to happen! Will Alex and Harley end up together or not? Will anyone die between now and the ending? Will Ron ever find out, and if he does, does he accept what has happened? What will the consequences be? Do the guys ever find the man who abused Harley?
