He wants to call his lawyers and have them sue Zane so he can release his hold of Melissa, but he knows that Zane has strong lawyers too. It will take him a long while to make something happen. By the time it’s all over, it will be too late. He lost his chance. He will never see Melissa again. Scott Hunt had been diagnosed for having Antisocial Disorder which no one knew about aside from his psychiatrist, Jess, and Kaiser. He was great in manipulating people without feeling any remorse. Even Samantha, an exceptional psychiatrist hasn’t seen through him—not even Takumi. Everything he has shown to everyone he calls as "friends" were all fake and he regrets nothing. Scott is also the son of an underground leader who lures cursed people into opening a portal between heaven and hell.

“That wasn’t funny. What do I need to do?” “Sit down.” I pulled out a chair and Andrew sat down in it. I pulled up a chair and sat across from him, our knees touching. I needed to make sure he stayed grounded in this exercise. It was risky, this being his first time using a vamp power and it being his dad. “Ok, give me your hands, keep our knees touching each other.” Andrew gave me his hands; I placed my hands in his. “Close your eyes and think about Kordell. Meanwhile, forty stories above the city at Hayes Global, Ryan wasn't having a much better Monday. He was sitting at the head of a massive boardroom table, but he hadn't heard a single word his operations team had said for the last twenty minutes. His mind was entirely trapped in the memory of Vennessa’s defensive, flashing eyes from this morning. Suddenly, his desk phone buzzed. His personal assistant's voice came through. "Mr. Hayes? Your intelligence and risk assessment team just flagged a high-priority hit. Vanguard Capital—specifically Aaron Vance—just ran a deep-dive asset query on Cole PR's primary banking ledger."

Each angel moved to their assigned position without hesitation. Aurelian stepped forward. Not because he desired to. Because it was required. Light gathered around him, forming a path that led through the structured expanse of Heaven. The architecture remained flawless, every line exact, every surface untouched by change. He moved through it without distraction. Others worked in silence. Some maintained the structure of Heaven itself, reinforcing what did not decay.
