Tempest in Paradise

Tempest in Paradise

John decided to assist Ericka and Randy in preparing their supper after leaving them laughing as the two continued to argue. Ericka is praying that evening when she gets the need to open her Bible, which she used as a teacher-catechist for years. The Gospel of John states, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son Jesus Christ so that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life," when she opens it. “

The Millionaire's Bride

The Millionaire's Bride

Sissy eagerly reached for Emma’s hand and whispered in Celina’s ear, “I’ll be her teacher today. Don’t worry.” And she didn’t. Celina trusted Sissy, and it spoke volumes that Sissy had been observant enough to know Celina might not be comfortable parting with Emma in a strange place. The pastor stood before the microphone at the podium and began his message. Celina listened intently as he read the scripture, and his voice rose in volume as he read 1 John 4:18 – 19. “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. We love because He first loved us.”

I enjoyed each of the sweet stories. However, I am not sure how the characters of Gabe and Celina in story two became Brian and Leah in story three while all the other characters, including their daughter, kept the same names.

The story in the introduction is Chapters 1-24. Then it’s different stories with new characters (Ch 25-55; 56-84; 85-117). Love how the relationships developed between Alexa & Salvatore / Celina & Gabe / Sara & Ian / Camille & Noah. Love how God, prayer, and faith were emphasized in each story.

I'm In Love With A Plus Size Girl

"Well, there's Ephesians chapter four verse thirty one and two. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice. And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you" "Is that it? That's the only scripture that I have to read?" Jennifer asked "Well,no not really because there's also Proverbs chapter sixteen verse thirty two,Proverbs chapter fourteen verse twenty nine,James chapter four verse eleven and twelve,Proverbs chapter nineteen verse eleven and many more" "And what if I forget all of the scriptures that you just said?" Jennifer asked "You won't if you meditate

His Undesirable Wife

His Undesirable Wife

-Unknown 1st Corinthians 13: 4-8 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

He took out his bible and read a passage there. "Psalm 82:1-5: 1 God has taken his place in the divine council; in the midst of the gods he holds judgment: 2 'How long will you judge unjustly and show partiality to the wicked? 3 Give justice to the weak and the fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. 4 Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.' 5 They have neither knowledge nor understanding, they walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken."

Meant To Be HIS

Meant To Be HIS

I took out my phone and typed these words in my notepad. "Now if you are here and you have not accepted Jesus as your lord and savior, this is your chance to get right with God, to become His child and enjoy the benefits that come with being a new creation." He said, quoting the book of Romans, chapter eight, verse one as well as the second book of Corinthians, chapter five, verse seventeen.

Really good follow on from the first book and I love how you have incorporated Christ in this book & their love story. As a growing Christian this was lovely to read, it didn’t have as much steam as the first book I can understand why but definitely drama filled.

"You were tempted before you've sinned. How come you did that sin on Friday night? It's because you didn't change channel last Monday. You didn't delete the picture last Tuesday. On Wednesday, you keep on reading the same contents you've seen last Monday. On Thursday, you didn't skip that advertisement ... And finally, you've sinned on Friday. As simple as it is ... a process." "Kuya Zion, it's like this. If you apply logic, then it just feeding your flesh. Small deeds that will lead to sin," a woman said in amazement. Zion nodded. "According to 1 John 2:16, For all that is in the world --- the lust of flesh, the lust of eyes, and the pride of life --- is not of the Father but is of the worl

LOOM OF THORNS

LOOM OF THORNS

"In the bus, you asked if the Psalms helped. They don't just 'help.' They remind me that even when I’m in the valley of the shadow of death, the real King 'EL-ROI' the God who sees me is with me." Under the shadows of the POP ceiling, I began to read—the story of the Prodigal Son. "In the book of John chapter 14 verse 6, Jesus said 'I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me'." "Come to the Father, today," I said in my soothing voice. "The Father won't forsake you, he's been expecting you." I felt a tear roll down my cheek. I had survived a chase, a fake drive, and a death threat, but seeing the "King of NUAT" surrender his heart was the most intense m

said the pastor. After a while, the reading started, "reading from the Apostle Paul, The first letter to the Corinthians, Chapter 13, verses 4 through 7: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. I have to say, this is an excellent read, right from the first chapter it just grasps you. I know it isn't comedy but the choice of words just had me giggling. I just know it's about to get intense. If you're wandering whether to read it or not, take it from me, you must! You won't regret it!

I love the dark part of this story. It's touchy and realistic. Even though I just read the first chapter, I felt every meaningful touch and idea the author wanted to pass through. I'm so impressed and I definitely love this. Keep it up, writer.
