The Variable Life of Sam

The Variable Life of Sam

"I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me" "Wonderful, a round of applause, please" "Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away, behold all things have become new...where is that in the Bible?" "John 7:38" "No, that one is 'He that believes in me as the scripture had said: out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water'...you get?" "Oh, my bad. Misplaced it. Thanks a lot" "You are welcome"

Caged ( Survival )

Caged ( Survival )

I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. " Though it looks like we are abandoned... Like orphans... Yet I believe he's with us. " " He never fails and he won't start now. His words are true and so can be trusted. " " Recall... John 1:1 says, " In the beginning was the word, the word was with God and the word was God... And the same word came in form of flesh to live and die. " So Jesus is the word. And that's why, the Bible isn't just any book... It's God's words being spoken to us... So yeah... Let's believe it. Let's find comfort in it. As it's true. His words says, the word of God is sharper than any two edged sword... "

Goddesses or 49 ½ shades of charcoal

Phone in and tell us if you know. ‘Here is our Baltimore bible expert, Randy Nelson. Randy, tell us what the bible quote was.’ Camera swings to Randy, who looks more like a country singer than a bible expert. ‘Well, Todd, John 7:53, verses 8 to11, refer to the passage where the Lord forgives the adulteress. The unidentified woman tells us the Lord’s message “is shit”. Seems she has issues with the Lord’s decision. Jesus said, “Let he who is without sin, throw the first stone” She sure threw the first punch.’

And it must be true, because, after all these years, she kept it. Hugging it closer to my chest, I went back into the kitchen, sat down pouring myself another glass whiskey, ready to read the Lord's teaching. “If dad can do it, so can I...” I murmured. I opened the book, and it's randomly displaying Roman 16:20, “The God of peace will soon crush Lucifer under your feet,” I read aloud, “The grace of our Lord Jesus be with—” Knock knock My reading was interrupted by someone banging on the door, Who could it be, it's late,

The Long-lasting Tree

The Long-lasting Tree

“I’m preaching about God’s true love and compassion for mankind, for God first loved us before we loved him. Brethren, let’s not forsake such a great love. Alleluia!” “Ameeen!” roared back the congregation. “And today, we have that vine with us, the God that existed from the foundation of the world. He is also the Lord of Sabbath, and he shall grant you rest from all your sins and curses, and the labour of your soul. Look, all he needs from you is your heart, that you may love him with the whole of your heart and soul and your neighbour like unto yourself. The word of God in the book of John, chapter fifteen, verse one to five, speaks about this true vine."

A book to pick from the shelf. Felt i was reliving times here, those wonderful moments in the history of a people. The Blue-eyed's intention with the bell and the tree's inexplicable powers are itchy... felt like I just wanted to know it all. This is a five-star novel, can't hesitate to say. ???

I'm greatly enjoying this book. I fell in love with Okayo, such a stupid thing though😅, but i love his courage and attentiveness to issues. Won't relent until i finish the book. This is truly African. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Spell Bound

His expression suggested he was quickly losing the will to live and most definitely regretting the lesson plan. "You don't have to look so sad." Damien shrugged, seeing the teacher’s dire expression. "It's just a lame theory I came up with off the top of my head." Mr Porter's lips twitched into a smile. "John 1:14: The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us," Mr Porter uttered. "Have you read the bible?" Damien grinned. "Only the good bits." This statement made Mr Porter laugh. "It's all good." "All the time," Damien added quietly.

I was quite surprised by this book. I tried reading it before but lost interest in it. I picked it back up yesterday and just finished it. I have to say, I'm quite impressed. I have read all but one of your books and you are a great writer. Thank you.

This is the fourth book I've read by you, in as many days. This one is different from the others. I like it and look forward to Damien coming out. I'm going to be sad tomorrow when I, hopefully, finish the other two books you have on this app.

Our Secret: My Dirty Tale

Our Secret: My Dirty Tale

“I’d like us to turn to 1 John chapter 2 verses 15 to 16. Sister Grace, would you do us the honour of reading it aloud?” Me? My stomach dropped. I was in no way shy, and I read scriptures often, but it felt so wrong for me to read while my pussy was wet. I grabbed my bible and flipped through the pages with ease, “Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, comes not from the Father, but from the world.”

SORRY DEAR EX, IT'S YOUR LOSS, NOT MINE

SORRY DEAR EX, IT'S YOUR LOSS, NOT MINE

To prove my point, I took her hand to press her palm in the middle of my chest so she could feel how my heart beat fast like there were wild horses in there. “Let’s go.” I beckoned to her, raising my arm for her to hold on to. Beth took a deep breath, and with her exhale, she clamped her arms to mine. Together, we walked the aisle until we reached the makeshift altar where the priest who would solemnize our union was waiting for us. In his hands, he held the bible and read from it. “1 John 4.18 says there is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear.” The priest started.

From the start this author excites us with this awesome book. I love how authors connects with their readers and this book did exactly that. Yes, there are plots but this author knows where to draw the line and don’t let it dragged. This book is a ten star and one of my favourite. Def read again!

It’s a great Novel. I really loved Marcus and Martina’s stories of them all. Please try to include little updates of their life too in further episodes as the story progresses with other brothers. Marcus’s character is well written since the beginning and a very likable character amongst others.

VAMP

VAMP

BEFORE THEN Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die” The priest turned to us, “Do you believe this?” “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed aw-“ His soothing voice fazed into Jacquelines ear as she realized it was a thought. A flashback to a week ago where she had to bury her son. Her eyes shut open, as she stared down to the board of chopped onions and a knife in her quivering, sweaty palm.

Amid, all the conventional stories, VAMP fearlessly holds its ground. I sincerely appreciate the author for hitting an unconventional world background blended with a murder mystery. Excellent book, I would definitely continue to to see how the story unfolds. 5/5 for the notable efforts.
