Ten minutes later, the office door opened, causing the group to turn. "Miss West, have you finished transcribing the speech I asked for?" Mr. Schmidt inquired, stepping out of the office with a folder in his hand and scanning some papers. "I need it before you leave." He paused, noticing the group staring at him in silence. "Who is this?" "Oscar Samuels. The former CEO," the man of mixed race introduced himself, extending his hand. "Stefan Schmidt," the German said, shaking hands. "Ah... you must be the one on leave. Your return is not too far off, is it?"

Most were harmless, many claiming to be married. Her fourth partner was someone she recognized; he was quite handsome for a blonde. It took her a few minutes of careful dancing to figure out who he was. He looked every bit the English knight, from his accent to his attire. Beside him stood Standfast, a bit shorter but no less imposing, with a sneer playing on his lips. Standfast, around nineteen, had a more rugged demeanor compared to Phillip. He gritted out as everyone scoffed at him, before resuming their things. "Look, sweetcheeks. I don't f**king want to die from his hands. What do you think he would do if I told him, dude me and my crazy friend put itching powder in your uniform to make a sh*t out of you in front of the coach but I'm a nice guy so I'm telling you to not wear it. He would've punched me solidly in the face." Joseph grumbled and then breathed heavily. "God it's so difficult to talk like you nonstop. Next time warn me not to rant like you." He muttered, earning a tight punch from her on his arm.

Cain scoffs and Gene glares at him, his eyes rimmed with unshed tears. "You may not have liked your father, but I knew him my entire life. You have no idea who he was or what he did, he was the best man I have ever known and he did not deserve the life he was handed. He should have had your mother by his side, he loved her…" Gene stops and clears his throat before continuing. I am happy to help train the next Beta when you choose them, but I request that you do so quickly, I only stayed on this long because Abaddon was my best friend."
