Author's POV Caius rolled his eyes as the man who had been a pain in his ass for years appearing wearing his usual smile. That wide sweet smile like he was the most innocent soul present in this world, the asshole who was after his kingdom's area for so long. He had no idea why the ministry adored and listened to this bastard, he was a vampire in the end, the same one who had killed so many creatures before. Kael paused before Caius letting his usual smile snap at the annoyed man, "Good afternoon, king Vlad." Caius sighed giving him a curt nod in response.

“It just doesn’t make sense.” Frida slid her book aside and folded her hands on the table. She leaned forward slightly. “Explain it to me. How does it not make sense?” Jonas also leaned forward in his chair. He moved forward, mirroring her posture as if accepting an unspoken challenge. The space between them shrank, leaving only a narrow gap. Jonas locked eyes with Frida, unwavering. Then he asked bluntly, “Aren't werewolves like you supposed to dislike weak human beings?” *

Mr Montero yelled from his study, Jonas immediately entered "Yes sir" "Where you able to find out what happened?" He asked "No Sir, the man hasn't been answering his phone" Jonas explained, Mr Montero immediately panicked as he stood up "I am going to kill each and everyone of you if anything happens to my daughter Jonas" he warned "I told him to only kill Steven Sir," Jonas hang his head low "My daughter is with that Steve Jonas, who is the man that you told to do the job?" He asked, Jonas pointed to one of the files on Mr Montero's desk

The last thing I want is for them to get into a fight, because I know Dane will use his wolf power to beat him out of it. Dane, just walk away. I say openly that Dane would diligently listen to what I have to say and agree with me. But I'm looking at him and he feels as if he has a different idea.

Edward mumbled back at her. "His name is Jasper and he is among the Elders of the Volturi. If I had known earlier, I would have revealed his plans to the Lord of the Vampires. I am so sorry, my Alpha." The woman said and burst into tears but Edward grabbed her shoulders. He couldn't watch her cry like this in his face, not when she was the one that saved him. "That's enough. You don't have to be sorry about anything." Edward said, assuring her.
