Jonathan “Got everything prepared?” Jake asked as Jonathan stood next to him, looking in the mirror. Jonathan was adjusting his bow tie. “Don’t you think I should be asking you that? After all, it is your wedding day.” I looked back at my brother. The smile on Jake’s face told me everything I needed to know; he was more than ready to be married to Amalia.

Jack immediately turned his wheelchair back to Kate. The bodyguard behind Jack invited Kate to go with them. "Please, Miss Kate. Let's go now." Kate was dumbfounded. When she signed the marriage contract two days ago, she knew she would soon be married to a man named Jackson Mattew. But she didn't think her wedding day would come so soon. Kate tried to put her mind at ease and said to Jack, "Wait a minute, Mr. Jack. I'll get the contract agreement first." Kate said that and went back to her room with her face flushed like it was on fire.

Two months had gone since Jonathan's birthday. During this month, a lot had happened in their lives. Jonathan had proposed to her a week after his birthday and had her move in with him and she permanently moved in to stay with since they were going to live together after getting married. They had gotten married during that period. When Jonathan had proposed to Cindy and she said yes, he was so happy that his beloved agreed to marry him. He had wanted to give her a grand wedding but Cindy declined having a grand wedding. She wanted a simple wedding that included their friends and closest family.

Jonathan pulled over a chair and sat beside the bed. “You’ve grown up,” he said as he looked at his sister’s face. “But your face is still the same.” Camelia smiled faintly, her eyes still wet. “So is yours.” Jonathan sighed. “Now explain. Are you married?” Camelia fell silent. Jonathan looked at Camelia’s stomach, still flat, but her protective gestures had been obvious since earlier. “And why are you alone in this city?” Camelia lowered her head. Her fingers intertwined. “I… I was married.”

She looked away in the same beat. After the toasts, Selene and Damien took the floor for the first dance. Jonathan watched from the sidelines and felt, suddenly, that he didn't know her at all. They'd been married. He had never once known she could dance. He had taken her to none of his galas. He had never asked her to be his partner on a dance floor. Something inside him tore. The dance ended. The couple moved through the room with champagne flutes, talking to guests. After a full circle, Selene's eyes settled on him again.

We are both busy working and managing our household. I found a good man who treasures a woman and I can't ask for anything else. We usually have a family reunion every birthday and other family occasions. Company events were minimal and w can't bring our families there. I told Jonathan to surprise Jasmine on her debut so we ask them to come here to Italy. Gertrude was once here, but since I married Gideon, many things changed. Alana hugged her back warmly, feeling a comforting sense of home in her aunt’s arms. Once they settled in the cozy living room, Alana shared her news with a soft smile. “I got married, Aunt Rosalie.
