I am going to have a very interesting academic year, and even though I may not be in the Cheerleading team, but I am interested in Damian Anderson. Call it lust, call it to crush or love at first sight. One thing is certain I know he is that fire that I will gladly burn-in.

Now it looked like she was going to school with them. Mitchell hardly spoke with Christine the rest of the day. Jordan was a well-known celebrity, and the students were eager to see and meet her. Christine was kept busy introducing Jordan and getting her to her classrooms. National signing day came later in the week. Jared was well enough to appear at his signing with Penn State. He just grinned at the jokes about dropping the soap in the shower. He was making great progress with his injuries and was expected to recover fully. Liam signed with a division II school and was quite pleased about it. Tyler committed to play for the same state school that Maddie attended.

He bumped her shoulder affectionately, the gesture familiar but not possessive, casual in a way that suggested comfort rather than claim. Jordan straightened without meaning to, instinct kicking in as the man turned toward him. He reminded himself—again—to stay calm. “Hi,” Jordan said, extending his hand. “I’m Jordan Hall.” The man took it with an easy nod. “Jamal,” he replied. “I recognize you from ESPN. You look taller in person.” Jordan gave a brief, polite smile, unsure how to take the comment. Compliment? Observation? Mild intimidation? He nodded all the same, keeping his expression neutral.

Harry cuts him off fast and he was infuriated in a split second at how Jordan belittled America just because of her condition. Jordan stares angrily at Harry and so does he while America feels a growing tension between the two guys despite not seeing what is going on in front of her. She understand why Jordan was acting like this since Harry is now famous and she also understands why they need to be careful with people around them. She knows for a fact that Jordan doesn’t know a single thing about what happened to her and Harry. “It was just an innocent conversation you had with her earlier so why did it have to end up with crying and kissing huh?” Jordan quizzed with a heavy voice.

I replied, cutting across the gym floor and taking my place at his side. A few more minutes passed, and I caught sight of Maeve and Jake entering together, surprisingly standing side by side as they formed part of the circle. Maeve’s eyes met mine, and I couldn’t help the grin that nearly split my face in two as she aggressively waved her arm, her whole body jerking with each motion. Jake noticed immediately, and offered me a warm smile which only served to broaden my grin. “Thank you everyone for coming, it seems we’re ready to start so I’ll pass you onto the Alpha.” Dean stepped aside, allowing Julius to take his place.

Jordan cries. "What the fuck is that supposed to mean?" I slap his shoulder, and he just pushes me to the bed. Jordan is a year older than me and in his final year of college, and he's an English major. But he's pretty athletic for a nerd. He's way more built than me and almost as bulky as Nate. Almost. And he's a pretty boy. Didn't his blonde hair tell you that? Because it definitely told me. But his eyes are brown like that of the rest of us in the family.

Damon ordered lunch while Sienna settled Jordan into a guest room. By the time food arrived, they were all gathered on the sunlit patio, plates stacked high with gourmet sliders, fries, and strawberry lemonade. “So,” Damon asked, biting into a fry, “Sienna says you play basketball?” Jordan nodded proudly. “Point guard. I run the court.” “He’s good,” Sienna added. “Coaches already want him for college scouting.” Jordan shrugged. “Still gotta finish sophomore year first.” “Are you fast?” Damon asked. “Fastest in my league,” Jordan said. “Want to race me?”
