Maybe this encounter was just passing by. Anna's heart skipped half a beat as soon as she saw the money and the note under the bedside lamp. "Try to live because this life is worth it." A few simple words made Anna's eyes turn red, she clutched her chest, pouring out all the pent-up emotions with tears streaming down her face. She cried out in pain, tears pouring down, feeling that life had been so unfair to her, too many pains accumulated, and a precious stranger had come to comfort her, saving her wounded soul. She tightly held the money in her hand, crying out in despair.

I asked, watching as the space around us turns clear, with only a slight fog. "I just want to say that this; giving you a chance to come back to life was one of the greatest decisions I've made. Not only have you gone off the rails, you also have managed to carve your own source of happiness." I said nothing, as out of nowhere, he began to float, laying back with his arms down to his sides, the scythe keeping him balanced. "But I know you have something up your sleeve. So please, make it worth my while." he said, as a skeletal version of himself walked out from him and disappeared.

Small rebellions hidden in plain sight. “I’m Joy,” she said, crossing her arms. “And trust me, you’re going to be bored out of your mind here.” Veronica frowned gently. “Joy—” “I’m just being honest,” Joy replied, eyes shifting back to Christiana. “You don’t look like the praying-at-five type.” Christiana’s lips curved slightly for the first time that evening. “I’m not.” Joy’s smile widened as if she had just found something interesting. “Well,” Joy said quietly, leaning closer, “then maybe you and I will get along just fine.”

But when I saw Tatiana's name on the screen, I was genuinely shocked. In both lives, we had never exchanged a private phone call. We both loved Matthew. In my past life, I refused to give him up, and she hated me for a lifetime. She even taught my own son to reject me. In this life, I retreated first. I removed myself from everything and escaped to the far Northern Territory. I never imagined we would speak at all. After a moment's hesitation, I answered. "Why aren't you coming back for the Full Moon Festival?" Her voice was stiff and unfriendly. It completely lacked warmth.

Watch it kiddo, John warned as Joy and Jay busts out laughing. My favourite flowers and cake, what more can a Mother ask for? Joy said hugging her. She narrowed her eyes looking at the rims around Aziza’s eyes. You look like you have not slept in days child, are you still having the nightmares?

" He said and we all started applauding. "That gave me chills." Cuore laughed. "Mine is Joy," Taylen stated. "Joy is an exciting feeling you get if you win a race or graduate. Your stomach bubbles, your eyes sparkle and you can't help but raise your arms in the air and have a voluminous smile on your face. Joy looks like all the brightest colours of the world. It sounds like rocking, awesome music or upbeat trumpets playing. It may also sound like the chirping of birds in the morning.

She grabs a bottle, pours a drink, and hands it to me like it's a peace offering. “Thank you, Joye,” I reply as I take it from her. She beams at me and raises her voice, “Time for games, girls! Don’t worry; I've planned so many fun ones. You’re going to love them.” Joye seems to be just the kind of person who brings energy into a room. Lively and cheerful, she could make even a funeral feel like a brunch. Her name suits her perfectly, and honestly, so does her marriage to Kingston, even though I know nothing about it. But he's playful, and she is too; they complement each other in that effortless way.
