To my lovely readers, We made it from a sad ending to a bittersweet one. Up next: the happy ending we all deserve. Loving Jude was going to be the final book. Initially, I intended to have an epilogue after Chapter 45 showing when Jo and Jude resumed the relationship. But that didn't feel right. After everything they have been through, I didn't feel good about wrapping up their story in a short epilogue.

[Atlas] "What are you talking about?" I demand. "My mother has been dead for decades, Jude. Keep her name, and her memory, out of your mouth." Doesn't he realize how close he is to becoming a body left on the beach? He's already pushed his luck beyond most of our limits. "Oh, but she's still here. She's everywhere. Her family built this place." "Her family?" I ask but he doesn't respond. Jude is standing on the other side of the room next to a large bookcase that curves along the wall and reaches up several rows to the ceiling. He sets the book he is reading back on the shelf and without looking up grabs another.

The city stretched below us—silent, cruel, blinking red. I stepped into the suite first. Lights dim. Wine poured. Jazz curling through the air like silk smoke. Jude stumbled in behind me, dragging his pain like a shadow. “She’s not here,” he said immediately, eyes scanning every corner like a wolf sniffing blood. “She will be,” I replied, lounging on the velvet couch. He paced. Restless. Ragged. I let him. Men like Jude don’t know how to sit still. They mistake motion for purpose. Anger for strength. They run in circles thinking they’re making progress.

"No, wait, is that why you don't like me? Come on, I am not a dwarf. Am just a cute looking short man, and that is because I have a big tummy as a result of eating well. He twitched his eyes, observing every detail of her body movement.

It’s not bad though, so I venture into the pub and spot Jude at the bar. He’s sipping his cocktails. I tap on his shoulder and he veers to face me. “Dawn!” He exclaims, lightly and stands to encase me in a swift hug. I smile up at him and settled on the seat beside his. “You look, simple and amazing.” He says, earning a grin from me. “And you look great too.” Jude calls the bartender and he comes forward. Turning over to me, Jude asks. “What would you like to drink?” “Seltzer water, please.” “Isn’t that too, simple?

Jude asks me, the girl in his lap sucking at his neck and rubbing herself on his lap. “What do you have in mind?” I ask, biting my bottom lip as I watch Nova bend over to pick up some napkins that fell. To be sure, she’s a bit skinnier than I would normally go for, but even that doesn’t detract from the roundness of her ass or her large tits. Jude says nothing for a second and I turn to see that his mouth is occupied by motorboating the tits of the female in his lap. “Dude,” I say, smacking him.

I can feel my cheeks warming up. Jude holds the book and I take it from him, bringing it closer to my chest and hugging it with both my arms. “It will be our dirty little secret,” he tells me before he stands up and walks to the table where the drinks are. I watch as he walks away and I feel like the world has stopped moving and it’s just him on the face of the earth.
