Julie James Novels Novels & Stories

Heaving a long and drawn-out sigh, Julie lifted her face and her eyes swept through the large library. The five books she had chosen were unexpectedly all about the Aliens' empire's history. She would love to delve more into their history as she was curious to know, but at that moment, her curiosity about her husband's past was way stronger that she had actually wished she could just find a book personally dedicated just about him. Julie thought that if there ever was a book that contained the details of Alex's secrets and of his past, the book should be looking like… her eyes just wandered around for minutes as if she were looking for something.

Tatina says. "You know I cannot walk out of here in the daylight without it. I will burn to death, Tatina. Is that what you want? You want to kill me and make me burn. I have never harmed anyone, ever. Jamie was the one that was auctioning women, I had no idea, and when I came down here to get him, I knew it was a lot worse than I thought it was. Please believe me," Jules says. "You fucking liar. I know everything," she says.

James’s eyes scan the room and they rest on me for a second before turning to Julia again. “I came to apologize, Jules, can we please talk in private?” - he asks looking at me “No you can not, you can Fuck off and leave her alone” - I say walking towards the opened door and Julia looks at me. “James please leave. We will talk later” - Julia says and James has a smug smile on his face that I want to wipe off with my fist. James leaves and Julia closes the door now looking at me. We are standing so close that I can feel her minty breath.

I had to go see my girl. I headed up the stairs with Buzz, he was going to see Julia. I decided to pop in quickly and say hi and to thank her for looking after Kirsty. Kirsty had told me that Julia had come by the day after I had left to introduce herself and they had hung out every day since. They even took her shopping to find a wedding dress for Jules. Julia squealed when she saw Buzz, which made me smile. “You’re back! I missed you so much! Don’t you ever fucking leave me again!” she laughed. “James! You’re home too! Please don’t tell me you have to leave again…” she cried as she noticed me standing next to her. It had been even longer since I saw Jules. I hadn’t seen her since the night

“And your delicious scent invaded my senses.” “What are you doing awake?” “I couldn't sleep.” Janice shrugged. “So, I went to the library to pick up my favourite novel. It will keep me busy until I become drowsy.” “What are you doing?” Janice frowned as Jules nudged her to the bed gently. She landed with her back, and he snatched the book that was in her hand. “Taking care of my wife.” Jules asserted, then began to knead her body. Janice moaned as she felt her tensed muscles releasing, and she noticed she started to relax as well.

Julia sniffs, as she's trying her best not to cry out loud. "Whatever your decision is, I'll be on your back. That's a promise." James made a promise to his sister. "This may sound cheesy but thank you for being here with me, James." Julia sincerely thanked her brother. “Anytime brat. Anytime.” James smilingly responded. ============================ Julia is in her room, as she's trying to do general cleaning. She lets out a nostalgic smile when she saw her high school backpack, loaded with old things that she used to have back in her schooling days...

“And besides, drama makes things interesting.” She had a gleam. That sharp, reckless gleam that didn’t match the flour on her nose or the simple braid down her back. It hit me like a slap—Julise wasn’t just clever and brave. She was dangerous. And maybe... fun. “I’m not going,” I said, trying to keep my voice flat. “Yes, you are.” “Julise—” She dropped her spoon and stepped into my space, lowering her voice so only I could hear. “You want answers? Real ones? You won’t find them scrubbing pots. The nobles drink and brag. They lie and then forget who’s listening.”

Inside the abandoned house, where James had his surgery, Julia was tied to a chair and her face was covered. "What do you want from me?" Julia asked. "In your next life, tell God not to put in you everything I want in a woman," James said. "I know Jason is looking for you and I know he will find you. I am waiting for him. I want him to watch me fuck you," he said and laughed.

I said slowly, my voice as cold as the air around us, “James is about to learn what happens when he crosses the wrong woman.” Julia let out a small gasp, her eyes widening as if realizing that she’d just unleashed something she couldn’t control. But I didn’t care. This wasn’t about them anymore. It was about showing James that he wasn’t untouchable, that he couldn’t just play games with us and walk away unscathed.

***** Jules sat in front of the TV, a women’s talk show flickering on the screen, a book lay open on her lap. The book—a novel about strange bones found all over the world—bones from eras even older than her grandmother. The book was her dad's, and that was the one of the few things she still possessed of him. She wasn't a fan of books, not to talk of a book about something that never really added value to the world. But she needed the distraction—anything to keep her mind off Nolan… and the idea that he might, right this minute, be in some bridal shop testing dresses with Evie.
