She winked before she shut the door. I finished my work day, went for a run around the island and did my fitness routine, had dinner, and then read before I went to bed. London might come to my room again to kill me in my sleep, but I suspected she wouldn’t. At this point, killing me wouldn’t change anything. Bones would come to collect her regardless.

“Tell me. Why would it make me hold her back? I already said before that I don’t take what belongs to others. I told that fucker that I will help him get his girl back. you really think I will keep her with me knowing she belongs to another?” Hillan asked. “You might be tempted if I told you what happened.” Julia went on. She was really good at keeping suspense. No wonder her books are so full of suspense. “Just tell me already.” Hillan said impatiently. “Well, our girl is a healer and the blood you see is mine. I cut myself twice and she healed me,” Julia explained. Hillan looked to me for an answer and I nodded. “Really? Did you know before?”

She looked at the middle-aged woman in front of her in agitation and said, “M-Miss Julia, i-it's really you!” Julia was taken aback. “Do I know you?” Quinn knelt in front of her and cried tears of joy while saying, “It’s me, Miss Julia. I’m Quinn. Quinn from Green Hills Orphanage. I’m the Quinn you saved from the lakeside and brought home to the orphanage…”

It was nice to see. “What are you reading?” she asked. Julia filled her in on the newest novel she had found stashed away in an old cabinet in the back of the house. It was an extremely exciting romance story that Julia said she could hardly put down. Once Cordia was up to speed on what had happened so far, Julia began to read the rest of the story to her. After an hour or so of reading about pirates, treasures, and how Sir Camion would love Miss Sicilia to the end of time, Julia paused. “My throat is dry,” she said. She coughed a little, which alarmed Cordia.

I asked by my gestures. "Eating meatballs at Takim's," replied Julia by her gestures. In the living room, I saw a pile and rows of old books. Books were not like academic books. Even if it was called a novel, it might be from the action-conspiracy-horror-thriller-mystery genre. Well, the title alone already made people goosebumps.

Hi, everyone. I just want to thank you all for the love and support you've shown to this book since I started. I meant for it to be a single book about Adrian and Lyra but thought along the way, why not write a story for her friends, Greg and Bella, too? Therefore, I'll be continuing this book with Greg's story, which will be M/M, and Bella's story, after which will be W/W. Hope you enjoy them.
