Zayden As soon as I got done showering, I hurried and dried my body and hair, put on my clothes and walk out the door. I see my little mate sitting in the chair I left her in but with a book in hand. I find a box of saltine crackers in the cupboard and a can of chicken noodle soup, so I get out a bowl and warm the soup up in the microwave. While sitting on the stool at the counter, I find myself wondering why he is in such a bad mood. After all, he isn’t the one being thrown out and going home to an uncertain future.
