With a smile on my face, I broke free from his grasp and took a step back.
"You're the one who told me to stop being delusional. You're the one who scorned me in public and abandoned me at the engagement party, subjecting me to everyone's scrutiny and mocking gazes. Yet now, you're the one with regrets. Am I supposed to just wait around for you?"
Shaking my head, I took out a photo from my bag. It was a photo Carl and I had taken together when I was 18.
