His eyes shifted up me then, holding his arm up so I could see the makeshift bracelet, and asked, "What do you think?" Standing there next to me, his light brown hair caught the sunlight in a way that made me want to touch it, just to feel how warm it was. Her eyes fell on the slit on Hunter's eyebrow from where the blood was oozing out before their eyes met. Jade pearls gazed into hazel dunes and tingles ran down their spines. Hunter inhaled sharply and her heart dropped smelling the most pleasant scent. The hidden part of herself whispered the truth gently in her mind while Hunter growled in absolute disbelief. "MATE!"

His hair was completely shaved, and a tattoo of a dragon skull went up the side of his head. Scars painted his honey skin like tattoos. I noticed his left ear was also pierced. It must be some kind of form of honour once you are accepted as a warrior.

He clawed and snarled at the shield, his rage shaking the very ground beneath us. The amulet in Debby’s hand glowed brightly, and for the first time, I noticed the tears in her eyes. “This was a gift from my parents,” she said softly, her voice trembling. “They gave it to me before they died. It’s a one-time use, and I…” Her voice broke, but she didn’t lower the amulet. I wanted to comfort her, to say something, but the words wouldn’t come. Ryder, however, was not done. He stopped suddenly. He shifted back to his human form, a sinister grin spreading across his bloodied face. Before any of us could react, he pulled a small dagger from his belt.

"Wonderful. Now, let's make this official." He strides over to Hazel and yanks her to her feet, making her cry out in pain. My heart breaks at the sight, but I force myself to stay strong. He pulls out a dagger, its blade glinting in the dim light. "These crests," Hunter says, tracing the blade over the intricate symbols on our arms, "symbolize your power. Time to remove them." He presses the dagger to Hazel's arm first, carving out the crest with brutal efficiency. Hazel screams, the sound tearing through me like a jagged blade. I can see the blood, the pain etched on her face, and it takes everything in me not to collapse.

And Jackson looked at me. "Are you sure?" He asked. "I've been hearing this loud pitch noise ever since I came down here. But it goes in and out. I didn't know what it was. But not he's asking questions, he's letting his boss know the answers before we kill him." I say standing up. "I've been hearing it too." Wyatt says. So Jackson forced the hunter on his feet and him adn Wyatt started searching him. Not only did they find a bug but they found a little hidden camera. And Jackson smashed them both.
