With a roar, I ripped off Xanthros’ arms while he wailed in pain.
I wasted no time in decapitating him with a clean stroke. His bloody head flew away in the air, as his body fell limp to the ground.
I looked over at Kaiser, who was busy fighting a witch; I quickly sped from behind and ripped out the witch's throat.
“I had that one under control.” He spoke, as I gave him a hand up.
“I'm sure you did,” I said. “Thank you, Kaiser.” Kaiser had always been unreliable, and as far as anyone in our family could tell, but for the first time, he stood to fight in the name of family.
