The Endgame Chronicles

The Endgame Chronicles(The Apocalyptic Queen Theresa)(Supreme Survivor In The Zombie Apocalypse)

"Zombies are capable of information exchange as well. They've discarded weak human genes and evolved crystal cores instead. When crystal cores exchange information with one another, entirely new individuals can be born. "For example, a fire-element zombie contains fire energy within its crystal core, while a water-element zombie carries water energy within its own. Once the two crystal cores complete an exchange of information, both zombies obtain each other's data. That is zombie evolution. "No reproduction required. Evolution can happen directly. "We've already proven the theory. Serum X is a zombie evolution serum designed specifically to help zombies exchange information and evolve." Hay

This is by far and beyond the best book I've read in a long time! It kept me so engaged that I had a lot of sleepless nights and I had to force myself to put it down. If it was in book form, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Thank you Hugh White for writing and publishing this book. it's the story of a

Worth the read, well written and has a decent plot. The characters generally have a lot of depth, although one or two have been a little strange, maybe written that way on purpose. The FMC sometimes feels a little too cold, and vengeful, but again part of her character... I will continue reading!

Bound by the Alphas

Bound by the Alphas

“For both bears and wolves. Which means, we need to return to our packs.” Xaden sat up with a frown. He reached over Damien and grabbed his phone off the nightstand as well and glanced at the screen. “Oh, fuck. Zach, wake up,” Xaden said as he quickly tried to get out of bed. Both Zach and Damien were now awake from the commotion. “What’s going on?” Zach asked, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. “Fuck what time is it?” Damien asked, squinting to look at the clock but he couldn’t see it because he wasn’t wearing his glasses.

My Zombie Girlfriend

My Zombie Girlfriend

Todd didn't want that. "Back to the report, please" Todd heaved a sigh of relief as Karl opened back the notes. "So, what is going to happen to the bitten" Karl sought answers again. "Have you ever watched a zombie movie?" Todd tried explaining in the easiest way he thought Karl would understand. "Are you saying they will become zombies?" Karl asked excitingly. "Yeah, more like that" Todd hoped he had satisfied him. "How are we going to know you are not lying" Karl asked ridiculously. Todd was maddened.

Zombies Be My Wrath

Zombies Be My Wrath

"Why is it so loud this early..." His voice was cut off. On the screen back in the bunker, Julian's pupils widened. He froze as if someone had cast a curse on him. The once-bustling downtown streets had become a hellscape. Burning vehicle wrecks were everywhere. Torn flesh and innards littered the ground, and hundreds, maybe thousands, of bloodstained zombies staggered through the streets. One zombie lay sprawled on the hood of a sedan, greedily gnawing on a human leg.

The Vampire's Intern

“Wha' wrog?” “They found another body,” She said, “Under the bridge. Same place as the last one. They said the body had all its blood drained out.” “Just like the last ones.” I shivered. She turned to me, eyebrows raised. “Apparently there are no obvious wounds. Do you still think they’re animal attacks?” “Of course.” I rolled my eyes. “What else would they be? Vampires?” “You think I’m crazy, but that’s the only explanation that makes sense.”

Zombies and Aliens (Book 4 of Kendra's Journey)

Zombies and Aliens (Book 4 of Kendra's Journey)

Before she realized what was happening, the zombie sank those newly formed fangs into Kendra’s forearm. Screaming from shock, fear, and pain, she struggled to free her arm. Taken by surprise, Rex wrestled for a few seconds to gather his wits. When he did, he wasted no time in leaping forward and driving his blade into the zombie’s temple. With its powerful fangs embedded into Kendra’s arm, when it slumped to the ground, the abomination took his wife down with it. “My arm,” Kendra wailed as she fell to her knees. “Those fangs are stuck in my arm. I think they’re in the bone!”

Tyler asked Xandros angrily. "Sorry about that” Xandros apologized, Tyler continued yapping about how he's disappointed and heartbroken about how he has been treated “I can only monitor you for a day or two cause I got your blood sample earlier, I tried a random experiment on Tyler's body but the whole thing went wrong and now Tyler has come back to life, but he's not really fully alive, you have to kill him, he's more like a fresh zombie, goodluck” The shaman said as he hung up

That twist hit me like a dropped comic book — sudden, loud, and impossible to ignore. Midway through 'xx of the dead' the story flips from a straight survival horror into a slow-burn confession: the lead isn't just a survivor, they're the origin of the outbreak. All those odd gaps in memory, the strange authority the character has with scientific staff, the flashcuts to sterile labs — they weren't background details, they were breadcrumbs. By the time the reveal lands, you realize earlier scenes of “escaping” were actually cover-ups, and the familiar faces around the protagonist are less allies than living reminders of what that person did.

Seeing everything reframed like that changes the movie from a run-and-scream into an ethical thicket. Scenes that felt heroic now feel hollow; choices that looked necessary now look monstrous. The twist also pays off narratively — it explains inconsistencies and gives the final act a moral punch, because the threat isn't an outside force but human hubris. It reminded me of how 'The Girl with All the Gifts' and '28 Days Later' use scientific causes to ask ethical questions. I left feeling a weird admiration for how the filmmakers threaded clues without making the big reveal feel cheap, and a low-level guilt that I’d rooted for a character who made catastrophic decisions. It's the kind of twist that sticks with you for days, the kind that rewires how you watch similar stories, and honestly I loved the moral mess it left behind.
