Katherine Novel By Anya Seton Novels & Stories

Katherine said, glaring at Alana before refocusing her gaze on Roman. "Do you think this little naive slut will ever be able to satisfy you?" she said, her anger and frustration leaking from her voice. "S–She's a fucking virgin, and you hate virgins. We both know that she wouldn't be able to last five minutes with you. She'll probably pass out or worse." Alana's gaze snapped towards her the moment those words left her lips. She couldn’t understand why Katherine was still so desperate to keep getting in bed with Roman.

Daisy Hunter muttered to herself as she swerved the car towards her home. Stepping out the door, she jams her door, the alarm system of the car reverberating through the whole neighborhood. Walking up the stairs to her apartment, her phone rang. 'My Love' The phone displayed. "Hello Seth." Daisy Hunter's voice is mellifluous as she walks up the stairs to her apartment. "Hi Daisy, how was your day at the office?" Seth Nathaniel said, his voice barely above whispers. "Great! Today was splendid…what about yours." Her voice was laced with curiosity.

He raised the corner of her brows. Katherine scoffed. "No, you would have, if you really didn't want to, then you would have sent me away before this marriage happened, I won't ever forgive you Mr. Jonas." She finished and walked away and Jonas's heart sank, his expression became weary and he seemed to have aged by seven years. Katherine walked around the boutique, no doubt it was standard, it looked nice, very expensive and fashionable, it was a nice place, but thinking of how they got the money to open this made her heart heavy, it felt like she was stabbed with thorns.

An outdated relic. She thought of the echoing silence waiting at home. She thought of five years of cold sheets and polite excuses. Katherine rose. Her movements felt liquid, desperate, inevitable. “Where are you going?” Serena asked, startled. “To buy a miracle,” Katherine whispered. She crossed the room toward the man in the charcoal suit. With every step the roar of the club receded until there was only the crisp click of her heels, the thunder of her pulse, and the magnetic draw of his gaze.

Katherine committed suicide on her wedding night, at least that was what everyone thought even her but what she couldn't understand was how could all this happen to a modern New Yorker? To be continued...

"Katherine always gets what she wants." The words hung between us, loaded with implication. Had she wanted him back? Was that why she'd returned to New York? I remembered what Hazel and I had discovered during our research: Katherine was supposedly "seriously dating" a CEO in London. Had that relationship ended? Or was it just a gossip? Or was Katherine playing games? I watched her walk away, her crimson gown flowing behind her like blood in water. Every man's eyes followed her path across the room. I couldn't blame them; she was magnetic, the kind of woman who dominated any space she entered.

She had more pressing concerns, like getting out of those wet clothes and finding some solace in her family's home. Katherine reached her family's house, a cozy little place that wasn't anything too fancy like the Alpha's mansion, but it was hers. She lifted the flower pot close to the door, where her family always kept the house key. She found it and unlocked the door, relieved to find nobody home. It was quite usual, but she was thankful for the solitude. She quickly ran back to her room, and it was still like she had left it yesterday morning - her bed unmade, her clothes scattered about, and her favorite book lying open on her nightstand. It was a comforting sight, a reminder of her old

Who meets a man for the first time and gets married to him in less than an hour? It's me, Katherine. Katherine thought to herself as she stood before the long mirror in her room. She was a surgeon General, one of the highest rank in the military so she was so certain her new husband can not bully her. But regarding her new husband's mother, Katherine wanted to know the fate of that old woman in the prison so she walked out and told her driver who was also an officer to drive her to the Western Ocean City Central Prison. That was where she served her sentence with the old woman.

- Katherine took a pause. She could hear whispers; people were talking amongst themselves. - Catherine is a witch and was sent here to take our lands and enslave us all. She enchanted Alpha, and he fell for her charm. I could do the only suitable thing in this situation. I challenged him for the Alpha position, and I won. Unfortunately, when I took the position, Camille decided Sean was no longer helpful, and she killed him. - Katherine stopped talking again, giving her people time to process her words as they impacted them.

She grinned, already deep in fictional bloodshed. Katherine thrived in chaos. Where most writers needed silence and tea, she wrote surrounded by mess and mayhem. Clothes littered her bed, Monty Python posters lined her walls, and the regal oil painting of Jasper that I had given her last year hung in pride of place like a monarch’s portrait. “Anyway,” she said, pausing long enough to sip her coffee, “back to more pressing matters. You need to test the sex before you commit. You don’t want to end up married to a man who thinks missionary is adventurous.”
