Herald!?" Herald scratched his neck. His lips gave a lopsided smile. "You're unbelievable! Caitlyn, " Madam Scarlett called as she turned back to Caitlyn. "Do not mind a word that rascal says, okay?" Caitlyn smiled and nodded.

I had a thousand questions going through my mind but I didn’t seem to capable to finding how to lay them across to her at the moment. “Immortal?” I asked again since that was the major thing that caught my interest. Kayla had powers which I knew about. However, there was something different about this particular Kayla that stood before me. She looked quite fierce and fearless…as though a new part of her got unlocked. “I hope you won’t faint like Jason. I want to show you something but you need to promise me that you won’t scream”, Kayla said and despite how comforting her voice sounded, there was something scary about it.
